A/N: This story is set one hundred years after the death of Stun, the character in my stories "Stun" and "Stun II". I recommend reading those stories first if you haven't already. This is a short prologue, but I hope everyone enjoys the story!

Prologue

Three scientists stood around a specimen in a test tube; one female and two males. They wore white lab coats and sterile gloves. The female had long green hair and pale skin. She looked at the growing specimen and thought about how this had all started...

A couple of weeks before, the same three scientists had read a story online about a Pokémon of legend; a Gallade who had called himself Stun. Apparently, historians had discovered that he had trained under the legendary Pokémon Mew. He was an extremely powerful Pokémon; probably the most powerful in existence, but had died about one hundred years ago by natural causes.

He had had one child, a shiny Gardevoir, but according to the Team Rocket archives she had died shortly after his death due to a genetically engineered Tyranitar created by Team Rocket going on a major rampage.

The three scientists had managed to acquire a single DNA strand from Stun via the Team Rocket archives, and had decided to recreate him.

"He could be a valuable weapon." John, the black male scientist, had said. "We could recreate him, make him even more powerful than this article says he was; it'd be simple. Maybe merge his DNA with the DNA of a legendary Pokémon. Team Rocket had a lot of information on him; we might even be able to use that and imprint some of his memories onto him."

Keith, the other male scientist, knew that it could be done; the cloning process had been perfected over the last hundred years. But would it be ethical? "I don't know… I mean… Create an even more powerful Stun? From what I read, he was extremely powerful before; when Team Rocket captured him, he claimed that he had even merged with a god."

"Psh." John rolled his eyes. "You believe that crap? There's no way that's true! Besides, who cares about what's ethical; the government doesn't pay us to think about that, we're here to create weapons and defenses."

And so, in the end, Kara, John, and Keith had decided to recreate Stun and try to implant his old memories into him. After extensive research, using mostly data from the old Team Rocket's database, they managed to piece together enough information that they believed they could create at least a rough outline. They had decided to merge his DNA with the DNA of Darkrai, and after a few days of preparation, the rough shape of a Gallade began forming at a rapid rate. The three scientists pulled Pokéballs out of their pockets and called forth an Alakazam each.

The scientists nodded at their modified Alakazams, and the psychic Pokémon turned to the rough-looking Gallade. One by one, they began glowing and transforming into their mega forms. The mega Alakazams were no strangers to this task; they had had plenty of experience in imprinting memories onto unfinished clones. Using everything the scientists could gather on Stun, the mega Alakazams began the imprinting process.

After about an hour, the Gallade was fully formed, but it had black skin instead of the normal white. Another hour, and the Alakazams had finished imprinting upon the specimen.
