With All My Heart
Naruto lay on his bed. He was 28 years old and looked like the fourth more than ever before. Naruto turned over to face the other side of the bed where his wife was lying on her back, her indigo hair spread around her, her eyes closed, her chest rising and falling with each breath. He stared at her lovingly. Her left had and the ring on it could also be seen…that ring that made him hers and her his. A smile spread along his lips as he thought that all the hard work that he had done to be able to marry her was more than worth it , if he had had to do twice or even a hundred times the work to get her, he would have still done it. Suddenly, her eyes opened, revealing purple orbs.
"Naruto...,"she said both softly and smiling "good morning."
Naruto grinned. "Morning, Hinata."
Hinata turned over onto her side in order to face him, the smile still on her face. She loved him with all her heart. Everyday with him was like a fairy tale. She remembered when he had first told her that he liked her. She had been stunned and yet, so happy inside. She also remembered how they had kept their relationship hidden for a while (on her, Hinata's, request). It had not worked for long as they loved each other too much to hide it.
Naruto had worked hard to earn her father's approval, which he had given, he had however, said that Hinata could only marry a man with high status like…Hokage. Hinata had been so overcome with joy that she had run right to her father and hugged him. He had smiled and hugged her back. She knew that he believed that Naruto would become the Hokage and he had been right.
They had gotten married two months after he had become Hokage, after meeting with all the other Hyuuga heads. She was not banned from the Hyuuga clan, or anything even remotely close to that. She and Naruto were both allowed onto the Hyuuga grounds at any time. Naruto had earned the love, respect and adoration of the whole village.
She was brought out of her thoughts by a hand taking hers and squeezing gently. She responded with a gentle squeeze, and then entwined her fingers with his.
"I love you Hinata…with all my heart." Naruto said softly as he moved closer to her and put his forehead on hers. They looked into each others eyes and smiled.
"I love you too Naruto with all my heart."
