Promise By Yumi
"Sora, do you ever think everyone's going to come back?" Kairi asked running a hand through her red hair, Sora sighed.
"I don't know" he answered.
"But they'll come back soon right?" Kairi asked curiously as the sun beat down on their faces. Their feet dangling on top of the water. Everything was over, no more hard ache. Organization 13 was gone. No need to fight anymore.
"Possibly" he replied with a smile. It was them only. Even Riku was gone, he had left to go make sure everything was finished. Done.
Kairi set her head on Sora's shoulder, closing her eyes and smiling silently.
"But Kairi, will you forget me?" he jokingly asked. The seventeen year olds laughed.
"How could I? Unless you leave me, at least I know I'll see Mickey and everyone else once again." she responded.
"I won't" Sora assured her. With that promise in her mind she drifted off into a silent sleep.
