Prologue
In a far forgotten time when faeries ruled the land there once lived a simple demi fae. She was no more than sixteen but already a woman in so many ways, her mother had been hung for treason when she was only eight and her father left her soon after that. Rhosyln was a free spirit always running rampant never to be tamed until her grandmother took her in, Grandmother Alvina was a kind old woman who always put her friends and family before herself, but she was old and needed someone to take over the local apothecary shop for her. So Rhos spent the next 8 years of her life learning how to run the shop and mix potions and herbs to make medicines for the royal family and locals. Rhos has beautiful brown sleek hair a tan complexion and a slightly slim body, Rhos has a small scar on the back of her neck from the time she tried and failed to climb a tree. Grandmother is slightly bent over but with beautiful jet black hair and a porcelain face and two slightly pointed ears and elongated canines just like her granddaughter and every other fae and demi fae. Now that the two main characters at the moment have been introduced, let's go visit them in the land where dreams and nightmares live where anything can happen with just a little magic. So let's take a trip to a long forgotten land and a long forgotten time to hear the story of just what happened to Rhoslyn Asteria and her grandmother Alvina Asteria. Let's take a trip to a land where humans didn't exist but war, poverty, betrayal, and love did. To the Land of Light and darkness, where making medicine can be a dangerous but benefiting business.
