1. The Tako-Luka Parrot
"Rin-chan, Len-kun, meet my new pet, Tako-Luka!" The twins paused from their video game to see Luka proudly holding up an octopus that looked weirdly like her.
"Haha, Luka-nee," Rin exclaimed, "it looks funny!"
"Wooks funny!" Tako-Luka mimicked. The three vocaloids stared at it.
"Did that…thing…just talk, Luka-nee?" Len asked.
"Wooka neh?" Tako-Luka mimicked again. Once again, the three vocaloids stared at it in shook.
"Well, yes, I think it did." Luka replied.
As time passed, Len became fond of their new pet, and was Tako-Luka's favorite person, after Luka. One day, while the girls had gone shopping, Len had decided to watch over Tako-Luka in the house alone. Although he didn't mind spending time with Tako-Luka, he eventually became bored after five hours or so.
"Hey, Tako…" He said lethargically, half asleep, "I wanna see Rin…"
"Wanna see win?" Tako-Luka repeated in a cute manner.
"Yeah…" Len replied sleepily.
"Yeah?" Tako-Luka chirped.
"I love Rin…" Len muttered before he fell asleep, completely unaware that he said it, and that Tako-Luka had heard him.
"I wuv win!" Tako-Luka squealed excitedly, as it began to repeat this phase over and over again. When Rin, Miku, Luka, and Meiko came home again, they found Tako-Luka happily chanting "I wuv win!" repeatedly.
"What's Tako saying?" Miku asked out of curiosity, after the girls had put away their numerous shopping bags.
"Hey, Rin," Luka smirked, "doesn't Tako sound like it's saying, 'I love Rin'?"
"And the only person in this house while we were gone was Len, ya know." Meiko jibed. Rin blushed furiously before stomping into Len's room, slamming open the door, and waking up Len in the process.
"Oh, hey Rin!" Len exclaimed, "When did you guys get home?"
"Just now." Rin replied. In the distance, they could still hear Tako-Luka singing "I wuv win". "By the way, Len," Rin started as Len flinched. He too, had noticed what Tako-Luka seemed to be saying, and was silently cursing himself for saying the three words that would probably get him killed right before he fell asleep. "What's up with Tako?"
"I, well, um…" Len gulped, fearing the worst. Knowing Rin, he knew that she would likely summon their shared road roller and run him over with it. "I love you! I really, really do!" I screamed out. Silence filled the house.
Suddenly, Rin started to get closer and closer to him. Len blushed, but at the same time, he was glad that Rin hadn't gone for the road roller. Len closed his eyes as his mirror image kept coming closer and closer until…
Rin shoved a spoonful of cake in his face. "It's Cherri's birthday! We need to celebrate!" She exclaimed before hurrying out of the room.
