Title: Moonlight

Summary: On a freezing cold night, Castiel stands gazing at the moon, and he's in good company. Dean/human Castiel.

Disclaimer: I do not own and never will.

Warning: Slash, don't like don't read.

A/N: I got bored during lunch again. Guilty as charged. LOL.

Castiel stood with wide blue eyes, his head tilted up, gazing at the moon. White moonlight reflected in his eyes as stood perfectly still in the white light while a long black shadow was cast. As he exhaled, his breath froze in front of him.

Castiel was stunned at the moon's simplistic beauty and asked himself why he never felt compelled to stand and simply look and admire it before. He had stood and looked at it before but never in the same light as now.

Suddenly realising how cold it was, he pulled his trench coat tight around his slender body and hugged himself, hunching him shoulders and shivering violently.

Unexpectedly, a pair of strong, muscular arms encircled his hips, pulling him snugly against a well defined chest. Warm breath danced on his bare neck before butterfly kisses were trailed up his neck and along his jaw line. Castiel tilted his head to the side to expose more skin.

"Dean". Castiel breathed, his eyes fluttering.

"Thought I would come keep you warm". Dean purred into his ear.

"The moon is beautiful". Castiel whispered, a small smile gracing his lips.

"Not as beautiful as me I hope". Dean said before nibbling on Castiel's ear causing Castiel to gasp with pleasure.

"Nothing can be as beautiful as you". Castiel turned in Dean's arms to face him and rose a single hand to caress Dean's cheek, stunning green meeting heavenly blue. "You're the reason I fell". His confession punctuated with a light kiss on Dean's lips.

Breaking the kiss and resting his forehead against Castiel's, Dean gazed into Castiel's blue orbs. No words needed to be said, everything was understood between them both without the need for them.

Castiel trembled in Dean's arms and Dean tightened his hold on the fallen angel. "Come on Cas. Let's get you some place warm".

"One more look". Castiel's teeth chattered.

Dean rolled his eyes and shook his head before nodding. A smile lit up Castiel's face and to show his gratitude lightly kissed Dean once more on the lips before turning himself back around to look up at the moon again. Dean sighed happily and keeping his arms tightly around Castiel, continued to gaze at Castiel with total disregard to the moon.

End.
