This came from a conversation I had with a friend earlier. The turkeys are a true story. I actually had that many. Lee is not really anyone; she was created for the purpose of this story. I claim no ownership of anything. That's why it's FANfiction.
Edit: thank you for pointing out the mistake with the copper/gold. I can't believe I actually did that.
"Anyone got some copper ore?" A warrior called. Lee looked up from her map. She actually did have some...somewhere.
"I have some. How much do you need?" She replied, neatly refolding the map.
"Twenty should be fine." The warrior answered.
"Right. That would be...five gold for the lot." Lee started looking through her bag.
"Alright." The warrior removed some gold from a pouch on his belt. Then he watched with some amazement as Lee's search through her bag continued. Her arms seemed much further in than the size of the bag would suggest.
"What all have you got in there?" He wondered, trying to figure out what was taking so long.
There were several clanks, thunks, and neighs as she moved some stuff. "I don't know exactly. My hearthstone, some food, armor, um... ore, somewhere. 140 pots of honey, 70 turkeys, 70 bundles of herbs. Oh, and my horse."
The warrior blinked. That could not have been right. "What?!"
She looked up for a moment. "It's bigger on the inside. Oh, there's the gold! No wait, I tell a lie. That's the cheese."
"Um, you're sure you have some?" The warrior checked.
"Oh yeah. It was right there, by the turkeys." Then she snapped her fingers. "Of course, it's in the other bag!"
The bag was replaced on her back, and a smaller one was grabbed off her mount. She then proceeded to riffle through that one. A humorous assortment of clanks, bangs, and cat screeches sounded as she did so. "Here it is!"
She pulled out a pile of copper ore. She handed it to the warrior, received her payment, and put the bag back on her mount. "Anything else you want to buy?" She asked.
"No. Thanks for the copper." The warrior walked away, leaving Lee to try and reorganize her bags. Maybe bringing that dragon from Northrend wasn't the best idea, she thought as she tried to stuff it back in.
Just a little joke, because I wanted to make someone laugh. And I really wonder about the bags. The horse, by the way, was another topic of conversation.
