Spoilers: The Man from the Other Side.

She sat outside his hospital room, waiting. She knew that the moment he was able to walk on his own, he'd gonna be gone. He was going to run somewhere they'd never find him. So she sat, waiting, until that time comes, hoping she can find a way to stop him.

She was almost asleep in the awkward vinyl chair when he walked out, fully dressed.

"You knew," he said. It wasn't a question.

"Yeah," she said, rising from the chair.

"How long?"

"Since the building in Manhattan disappeared. I could see you glimmer."

"And you didn't say anything!"

She stared down at her feet, not fully knowing how to answer.

"I trusted you," he said, his voice betraying his need to sound strong.

She quickly looked up at him, hurt evident in her eyes.

"You can trust me," she said.

"Then why didn't you tell me?"

She was quiet another moment. "I was going to. And then I wasn't," she admitted. "But Walter said he was going to tell you. I figured it was something he needed to do, it needed to be him." She paused, looking up at him pleadingly. "I'm sorry."

He pulls her into a hug, her head resting against his chest.

"I'm sorry," she repeats, her eyes closing.

"I know. Me too."

She didn't say anything for a while; she just rested her head against him, listening to his heart.

"You're leaving," she said finally.

"Just for a little while," he said. "I just need to be alone for a bit, have some time to think." He ran his hands through her hair over and over, calming both of their nerves.

"You'll come back?" she confirmed.

"Yeah, I'll be back. Just give me some time." He pulled away, taking her hand. "Can you do something for me?"

"What?" she asked.

"Don't tell Walter," he said. "Don't tell him I'm coming back. I want him to wonder."

Olivia doesn't really like the idea of lying to him. She knows it's been hard enough on him. But this is Peter, and Walter had lied to him his whole life.

"Okay," she said. Maybe, this once, she would lie for Peter.

"Thank you," he said, kissing her cheek. "I'll be back soon, I promise." He turned and walked out of the hospital, glancing back at her right before he left.
