Disclaimer: Do I really need to do this, I mean honestly..? x.x
I hope you like my story! I won't be able to update a lot, but I really will try… I'm working on the first chapter. Based after New Moon
Warning: Title is very likely to change!
Prologue
I was running carelessly into the woods, trying desperately not to fall over the scattered rocks and branches. I stole a look behind me. I couldn't see anything but the dark trees closing me into the forest.
Being forced to a stop to ease my burning lungs, I looked around, trying to decipher exactly where I was. That was definitely a hopeless task, for I was hopelessly lost. The irony of my situation almost made me laugh hysterically. Edwards note had instructed, Be Safe, as it always does before he goes hunting. Of course, I was doing the exact opposite of 'being safe'
The giant trees towered over my head. Fear heightened my senses; I was annoyingly attuned of every drip, drip of the drizzling rain that fell on the leaf-coated forest floor. Somewhere above me, in the trees, a twig snapped off and fell to the ground. My head jerked upwards.
A pair of hate-burning, burgundy eyes glared down at me from a shadowed silhouette that was perched on a high branch. I started to hyperventilate; I had immediately identified who it was. I suddenly desperately wished Edward could read my mind.
A scream bubbled up into my parched throat, but it failed to slip out my dry lips. My impulse was to run, but only a glance at my surroundings told me that it would be useless to try. I would only make it easier, I shuddered, more fun for her
She leapt lithely from the branch, and landed on the fallen leaves with a muffled thump.
Her flaming hair glowed even brighter than usual, if that's possible. My mind flickered back to what Laurent had told me.
"You're very lucky I was the one to find you"……"If you knew what she had planned for you…"
My mind flinched away from the memory of when Edward was…gone. I turned my gaze back on the masochistic vampire that stood feet away from me. One look into her eyes told me that she wasn't planning to make this any less painful. I started to hyperventilate even worse, making my breath come in short, raspy bursts.
Victoria let out a menacing laugh that made my blood run cold.
Edward…Edward I love you, I knew my face clearly betrayed my thoughts; my feelings. I felt dizzy, my stomach dropped. No! I fought to stay in reality. I can't faint now!
Victoria licked her lips and fell into a feline crouch.
That did it.
I slipped into a black, cold darkness.
Good or Bad? Keep going or Stop?
I don't mind criticism. Review! 8)
