As I wake up to the birds singing outside I slowly get up do my business and get out of the house to meet some friends.
As I'm walking through the market the place was buzzing with people looking around and talking with their families, kids playing around and travellers looking for useful equipment.I'm walking down I start playing with my Light powers.
As I'm getting closer to the bakery I noticed I do not really wake up this early so I can see the light just peeking above the houses to shine on the streets and just hear the wind brushing through the bushes. I see the wooden houses looking more than just some building they look enchanted and that brings me to the sad reality of why this town was made, it was too keep all of the magic folks here and to cut them off because we are a threat to the 'normal people'. The only ones who come here are travellers that have yet to discover the rumours about us. we have a specific place in the town.
There is the castle in the very middle of the town where the royal family lives, then there are the warriors, the 'normal's' that are very talented with a sword and serve the family. Then there is us, we are like the first defence, we are to stay here and if someone attacks we are to kill them. The worst thing of all is that we cannot leave the town, we can only go past the worrier to the castle and back.
Trying not to get myself more down I tried to stop thinking about it and got to the bakery.
"Good morning," I said cheerfully while sitting down at one of the tables.
"Morning to you too," Deeya said with a light smile while placing everything on display.
"Morning," Said Mira a bit more lazily still rubbing her eyes while placing things on the trays.
"So what are we doing today?" I asked hoping that they will say something fun and not like work.
"We do have work (Y/N) you know that," Said Deeya looking at me with an 'are you kidding me' face.
"oh come on, let's do something," I whined looking at them with my puppy dog eyes.
"Why don't you go out and walk around or something?" Mira suggested with a hopeful face that I will leave them alone.
"But it's gonna be boring without you guys," I whined, even more, seeing how far they would go.
"No (Y/N) you just don't want to be alone," Said Deeya with a smirk. I looked at her in disbelief at how bold she got, Mira just stood there in the back with a wide smile and giving Deeya the thumbs up. There was silence for a bit, it was not awkward or tense but calm and relaxing, and the two were putting everything up and getting ready to open the bakery.
"Did you ever wish to get out of here," I asked while putting my elbow on the table and holding my head. I saw Mira stop what she was doing and Deeya was hesitating on what to say, the atmosphere changed in a matter of seconds from this happy calm to tense. Mira put everything down, straightened her dress and looked at me.
"We all do, we all want to go somewhere and not be trapped in this place but what can we do to get out of here," Mira said with a pissed face.
