The Tale of the Hero

The hero, Link, has finally overcome the Great Calamity. He thought that his adventure was over but that was only the beginning. Join Link, Princess Zelda, and many other characters as the Tale of the Hero is told.

*This is an introduction to a story I'm hoping to write. Please let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions about what should go in the story.

Introduction

The bright, pearlescent moon shone through the clouds, casting a dark sweeping shadow over the land of Hyrule. If you only glanced down at Central Hyrule you wouldn't see much. Just the reddish-blue glow of a Stalker Guardian, the light shining off of its metallic legs. If you could see behind the castle and through the shroud of dark mist that hovered above the moat, you'd see the faint outline of a young man clad in a blue tunic. The boy quickly scaled the steep cliffs, which the castle resided on, with amazing speed. Then he disappeared into the castle to fight the monster to end all monsters, the calamity. A darkness that no world should have to face. He had failed once, but this time he was determined not to make the same next thing you would see was the moon fade to a shade of red and a dark mist fade over the field and you wouldn't see any more until the mist cleared.

The tale of how he got there is one of heartache and adventure. That, however, is a tale for a different time. This is the story of what comes next, with its fair share of trials and accomplishments, moments of joy and moments of despair, and though it pales in comparison to the defeat of the ancient beast, it does have its moments.
