"Robin!" Cyborg shouted from the monitor, "It seems we have a object of high speed coming across the water towards the tower."
Robin cracks a smirk at the yellow and red blur on the screen, "Oh that's just-"
Suddenly Robin was cut off by the sound of shoes screeching against a metal floor, the entire team turning to the sound.
"Dude! Who are you?" That was Beast Boy.
"Kid Flash, or as my friends call me, KF!" Wally smiled brightly.
"I call you KF-"
"Yeah, but I'm hoping for it to catch on-"
"Why are you here anyway?"
"Can't I visit my favourite bird without being interrogated?"
"I guess it has been a while," Dick rolled his eyes.
"Harsh," Wally laughed causing Robin to admit a small crackle.
"Woah, you made Robin laugh, Robin does not laugh. He's worse than Raven most times," Raven hit the green boy on the arm.
Wally's eyes flickered over to them for a moment, and Robin picked up the que.
"The one who won't shut it is Beast Boy, that's Raven, Cyborg, and Starfire."
"Mm," Wally nodded, "Nice team." He seemed distracted, eyes slightly glossed over.
"So, did you want to do anything? You're probably hungry, well, you're always hungry."
"Er, sure, I could eat."
That's how they all ended up in the kitchen area, the titans's faces spoke of shock at the sight of Robin baking. Since when did the Boy Wonder bake?
Skilled hands carried the freshly baked cookies over to Wally, not giving the team a second glance.
"Don't get any ideas, no way am I cooking for you guys."
"Totally unfair," Beast Boy whined.
The team continued to watch with confused stares and Robin and Kid Flash played videogames, ate cookies, and laughed. Robin never sat that close to anyone, hell, they were practically on top of each other.
The biggest surprize of all came at around midnight.
"Sleeping over?"
"If that's cool."
"Course, but I'm tired so let's go."
Robin took Wally's hand, helping him up, and not letting it go as the younger led the redhead to his room.
"What. the. hell." Cyborg finally spoke.
"I know!" Beast Boy half shouted, "Do you think they-"
"I believe that is none of our business," Starfire piped up.
"I agree," Raven deadpanned.
"But, I have to know! It's Robin we are talking about, if he is dating someone, shouldn't we know?"
"He is our leader and as long as it doesn't effect his work effort then no, it's not our place."
"He is also our friend," Starfire mumbled, "I am the cat of curious."
"Raven, can't you feel their emotio-"
"I'm not going to pry like that Beast Boy. If you want to know, ask."
In retrospect, Beast Boy could have at least waited until morning. When he had knocked on Robin's door the sight that greeted him was one he was only somewhat expecting.
In front of him was a dressed-down Kid Flash, only a pair of boxers of his hips -but that was normal sleeping wear- the surprising aspect was the hickeys trailing his neck and happy trail. Now Beast Boy was dense, but even he knew that those had to be recent to have not healed.
"Dude?" Wally said for the third time, snapping his fingers in the green teen's face. "Yeah, okay, if you don't mind I'm just going to, yeah, good night." Wally slid the door shut with ease.
"Team needs work on their communication skills, babe," Robin laughed as Wally returned to his previous position on the bed -atop the boy wonder, head buried in the pale neck.
"I'll relay the message."
