One
By Naia Zifu
The wind stirs her hair like blades of grass in a summer meadow
A soft place to fall, to bask in the warmth of her golden eyes
That see into the deepest shadows of my mind, to know all my secrets
Long ivory fingers like keys to unlock all her own
Until experience becomes a blur, and I can't tell where her life ends and mine begins
Or if they were one all along
