A/N: Hey guys its me... don't worry I'm not abandoning my other fic, I'm just trying to work through a block so I thought I'd write some one-shots until I get back in a groove. This is set between "Infiltrator" and "Denial"... I'm also taking recommendations for other Song Fics or any other prompts you'd like to see! Thanks guys, and look forward to an update in Getaway Car within a week or so!

Song: like that – Bea Miller

I can see it from the way you're looking at me

You don't think I'm worth your time

Don't care about the person that I might be

Offended that I walk the line

Artemis knew she wasn't what they wanted. The team wanted Roy, and she'd never measure up. She saw it in the looks they gave her every time she entered the cave—she wasn't the archer they wanted. She had only been on the team for a week, and for the most part everyone had been kind and welcoming. Megan accepted her with open arms, and Kaldur was supportive.

But she could see it when they thought she wasn't looking. Robin watched her, waiting for her to make a mistake. Superboy was indifferent, which she guesses is why she was drawn to him (and because, of course, he looks like Superman and who wouldn't want a piece of that).

Wally was pretty chalant about how he felt, always calling her out and firing snarky comment after comment. Their first mission together she messed up, and he wouldn't let her forget. Wouldn't let her go an hour without bringing up the fact that she wasn't the archer they wanted or needed.

It was the same that morning when Artemis showed up for training.

"Oh, look what the cat dragged in." Wally sneered. "Probably because you let it get away." Once again mocking her for letting Cheshire get away. It wasn't like she had a choice. With how she was being treated for one mistake, imagine if Wally knew Cheshire was her sister! Yeah, not a chance.

"Too bad the cat didn't get your tongue. It would be nice to have some quiet around here." She fired back lamely while retying her hair that had started to fall out on her way there.

"Okay, if you guys are done playing cat and mouse, can we get started? I have plans after this!" Robin was the next to chime in with the lame cat idiom, which made everyone groan and roll their eyes.

Black Canary paired them off for one-on-one hand combat, and of course with Artemis's luck she was paired with the one and only Kid Idiot.

As she stared Wally down, waiting for his first attack she could see him staring back. He thought this was going to be an easy win. She could use that against him.

"Can we get this over with? I have better things to do-" Wally broke his stance and Artemis used the opportunity to strike. With a solid kick between the ribs he hit the ground. The "fail" notice sounded in the background and Artemis cracked her knuckles.

Wally laid there for a good few seconds, as if trying to process what had happened, before getting back up. "That wasn't fair!"

Artemis rolled her eyes. "That was completely fair, Baywatch. It's not my fault you lost focus."

"Fine. Let's go again."

The next round lasted a bit longer, Wally on his guard. He got a few good hits in, but Artemis had a point to prove and wasn't backing down. They went minutes, dodging each other and throwing punches and breathing heavy before Artemis got a good sweep in and knocked Wally off him feet.

Once again the "fail" notice sounded and Artemis noticed the others had stopped to watch. Good. She wanted all of them to know what she was capable of.

"Who's next?"
