Study Afternoon

"We use C in verbs that end in -cir and -ducir except for asir. For example: reducir, lucir, decir, aducir and inducir". He finished closing the heavy book he had been holding for a whole hour.

"Don't forget seducir" the saint said suggestively against the other's ear.

"Not at all. It seems you finally realized the importance of mastering the language, Kardia", Dégel said as a response while placing his glasses gently on the desk. "You should stay the course".

"Yeah, whatever. But I still don't understand why this is so important. It's just a foreign language", he sighed. "It is not even Greek"

"That's why Spanish is a foreign language to you", Kardia". Dégel got up, grabbed a small pile of books from the desk and put them in the nearest shelf. "Also, learning another language makes you wiser. You gave up with English and French, that's why I thought Spanish would suit you the best".

"Yes, but..."

Before he could complain, Aquarius interrupted him.

"Let's take a rest. It's already late".

A second later, the Greek found himself laying in the red tapestry covering the plinth of the room, putting aside merciless any diccionary in the way.

"Better?"

"Better". He closed his eyes with a tired expression, ignoring the sarcasm from the person next to him. "Though an orange juice wouldn't be that bad" he smiled "Come here".

Then, he pulled Dégel's arm strong enough to make him fall besides him and, against the odds, being able to make him laugh so sincerely it made him tremble.

"What was that?" asked the also giggly Scorpio Saint.

"I don't know. Does it bother you?"

"Nope, I like it even more like that"

In moments like these, the Aquarius Saint reeks sweetness from every of his cells. That was a unique and unforgettable view. A view that only him, Scorpio Kardia was able to see because, to everyone else's eyes, Aquarius Dégel was the cold and expressionless guardian of the eleventh temple. However, he had the ability of breaking through his heart of stone, getting to feel the warmth of it.

Taking advantage of the fact the other was distracted, Dégel wrapped his arms around him and made him turn to his side, resting his head on the scorpian's chest. He took his time to enjoy the moment, wanting it to last forever. Finally, he stopped at Kardia's blueish gaze which seemed to penetrante his soul and read even the most hidden of his thoughts.

Parsimoniously, he moved his finger around the Greek's flawless facial features, who just relaxed and went with the flow. It was a simple action, repeated in the past several times, overflowing the most whimsical and sublime of all human feelings. Love.

"I love you" he whispered out of the blue, interrupting Dégel, who smiled slightly.

He waited for a "me too" or an "I love you too" but it never came.

The only answer he received was a gentle kiss. And, in moments like that, words weren't as meaningful as tons of caresses and cuddles building a bond so powerful and endless not even death could break.

The End

A/N: This is a translation of my original fanfic "Tarde de estudio" made by the awesome Mint Dropsz. I've wanted to translate my fics to English for a long a time but this is the first one so far.

Now, here you have the meaning of the words written at the beginning: seducir=to seduce, reducir=to reduce, lucir=to wear, decir=to say, aducir=to claim, inducir=to induce. If you see any mistake, please let me know.

I hope you liked the story :)
