Do you dare taunt me now, Loren? The pain shot through my body once again.
"Stop! STOP!" I screamed. I could feel the life slowly going to be sucked out of me.
Where's Elfangor now? Not here to save his pet human? That name meant something. My mind was too blurred to think about what. But something clicked in my subconscious. I've been promoted since you saw me last. I'm Visser Three now. Aren't you impressed? The pain slowly ebbed away. Now, where's the Time Matrix?
"What?" Suddenly an image. A sky swirled three different colors. One was Earth's. "I don't even know what a Time Matrix is!" Pain swept through my body again, this time more intense.
Come on, Loren. Elfangor wouldn't erase your memory. You know.
"AAAAHHHHH!" The pain! It was too much!
Keep her alive! the Visser snapped. For now. Then I sunk into unconsciousness.

I was floating in a blue green colored light. In some way I don't know how to explain, I saw everything from thousands of different angles. I was detached from my earlier torture. Somehow, the hurt was at a distance.
"Who are you? Where am I?"
DOES THAT REALLY MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE? VISSER THREE NEVER LETS THOSE WHO INSULT HIM LIVE.
"I've never seen that four legged freak before in my life! And you never answered my question!"

Then the other time line surfaced from my subconscious. What happened, and what was erased. One with the Andalite I loved. The other with the human I thought I did. I would die. I knew that. But what would happen to Tobias, Elfangor's son? He wasn't even in preschool yet...
"What happened to Elfangor?"
YOU WILL SEE HIM AGAIN.
My surroundings changed. Instead of the blue green light, there were tiny strands of different colored light, twisting together and veering away from each other. I saw mine and Elfangor's come together, then go in separate directions. From the union came a shining new one. Tobias. A path of loneliness and heartache.

I left to wait for Elfangor.
