C.J. looked at the phone in her hand.
'Just do it.' She mentally chided herself.
'But what if he doesn't feel the same anymore?'
Shaking her head, she dialed the number.
It rang once, twice and a third time before it was picked up.
She heard him say hello but still didn't say anything. He said hello again and she could tell he was about to hang up.
Where was her voice? Of right, somewhere down near her stomach.
Taking a deep breath, she mentally prepared herself.
"Hi Danny, it's C.J. I was wondering…do we still have a chance?"
