Victorie Lupin stretched out on her and her husband's king sized bed. The scarlet blankets finished just above her chest. She blinked open her big blue eyes. The first thing she saw was the cream ceiling and lit up lightbulb. She rolled over, yawned, and began to tickle her husband. Teddy Lupin soon woke up laughing.
"Vic, stop!" He groaned. Victorie stopped and rested her head on her hand.
"When I'm with you, the only place I want to be is closer, Teddy." She fake cried, opening her arms for a hug. Teddy laughed at her and hugged her.
"Is this close enough?" He asked.
"Maybe." Victorie teased, jumping out of bed. Teddy shook his head: He couldn't believe that just two weeks ago he had said 'I do.' Teddy threw off the blankets and chased his wife into the kitchen. He was wearing jeans and a 'the fart lord' band t – shirt. Victorie wore a silky blue nightie and a pink dressing gown. Through the window the sun poured down on the couple, even if it was only seven thirty.
"Brekkie? Now? Vic, are you mad?" Teddy asked, staring at his wife in disbelief. She smirked.
"Yes, maybe I am." Victorie began to butter bread
"I can't believe I married a person who says she's mad!" Teddy said sarcastically. Victorie hit him.
"Teddy!" She cried. "We love each other."
"You're right." Teddy gave in sheepishly. "But we don't have any good childhood memories.
"Really, Teddy. Think." She advised him. After a couple of minutes, he'd thought of something.
"I remember the day you came to me crying because no one would sit with you." He summarised. Victorie stared at him like he had grown another head.
"Teddy! We do not remember days, we remember moments." She scowled wisely.
"Since when have you been wise?" Teddy teased.
"Since when have you questioned my motives?" She shot back.
"Never." He answered for both of them. The toast popped.
"I love you, Teddy." She smiled.
"I love you too."
