My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic: The Untold Story

Episode 1: meeting your match.

(Cinnamon Ace)

The feeling of the beat made me feel as if I was going to fall over, I loved it. The unicorn DJ Vinyl Scratch and the violin playing pony Octavia always put on the best shows. There two very different sounds blended almost perfectly. "Hey Ace, get your poker face on. Someone really wants to play you" my friend, Shadow Fall, said.

He has been my best friend ever since we were little stallions. He's a black pony with a brown mane. He is also covered with brown spots all over except for on his flank right where a cutie mark would be. He always got picked on for not having a cutie mark. He still doesn't have on to this day. A cutie mark is a mark that shows up on your flank when you find you special talent. Mine is a spade because I'm really good at Texas hold 'em. The pony walked up to me a repeated what he said. I guess he thought I couldn't hear him over Vinyl's and Octavia's awesome loud music. "He's at your casino" he added to his previous statement.

"Ok, I'll meet you there; I need to let Scratch know I'm headed out. Me and her were gonna hang after the show." I responded.

He responded with a nod and walked toured the casino I own. I walked toured the Scratch's mixing bored.

"Cinnamon Ace, what's up" she asked me in the same yelling mannered voice I met her in. She was a white unicorn with a light blue swooshed Maine with dark blue highlights. He has a music note as a cutie mark and red eyes. Most ponies wouldn't know it though because she always wears purple sunglasses.

"I got to go to the casino, there's somepony there that thinks they can beat me in a game of hold 'em."

She cutely giggled at the thought of me losing and said "I'll meet you there after the show."

Octavia, hearing my voice, looked at me and gave me a nod and a smile. She was a light brown pony with a long brown mane and a different musical note as a cute mark. I gave them both a smile and walked toured my casino. Out of the party my ears began to ring from the loud music. I entered my casino, a much quieter setting, to find a very stuck up looking pony. He looked at me with judgmental eyes and asked me to take a seat. The dealer was waiting for me with cars in hoof. "So, what's your name" I asked the pony as the dealer handed out the cards.

"Call me Chip" he responded. I was a little in shock that he didn't respond with something like: William Fancy Pants the III. I looked at my two cars, pocket aces; I knew I had this hand for sure. I watched Chip's face as he picked up his two cards, hoping for a tiny smile, hoping he thinks he has me beat. I got what I was looking for. We both checked the first round, and the first three cars were laid down on the table. Two kings and an ace, giving me trip aces. I wanted to scream in joy but I held my composer, I even did a little sigh as if I didn't have a hand. It was Chip's turn, he bet ten bits, minimum bet. I called and the next card was laid on the table, a jack. Still showing no emotion, Chip through in another ten bit chip and I called once again. No need to bet a lot a scare him off. The last card was laid on the table, just a meaningless four. Chip bet twenty five bits. I thought about what he could have, I know I had him. I raised his bet to fifty bits. After throwing the bits in the middle I looked back down at the ace in the middle. After a short wait Chip went all in. we started this match with only two hundred bits, if I fold he will have a huge lead. I knew he had trip kings, which could never match my trip aces. I called and shoed my cards. "Trip aces" Chip said rather composed.

"Alright, what do you got" I asked him. He looked at me and smiled.

"Quad kings" he said as he laid down the pocket kings he had in his hoofs the whole time.
