Tsuyoi!

"It's very nice of you to give us this tour of your facilities, Kei-san," said Miho, by way of setting the scene without a lot of description that the author would probably get wrong.

"Ah, no pro!" Kei replied, with a big grin. "Besides, it'll spare you the trouble of sending spies next time, right?"

Miho laughed politely, as did Yukari and Yuzu. Sadly, their polite responses were somewhat muffled by the way that Momo loudly declared, "It is the firm position of Oarai Girls Academy that we have no knowledge of any such actions!"

"Riiiight."

Miho blinked. "Wait, but aren't you the one who sent Yukari-san to Anzio in order to -"

"It is the firm position of Oarai Girls Academy that we have no knowledge of any such actions!"

Miho coughed and looked apologetically in Kei's direction.

"Oh, don't worry about it, our stucon's even worse. And anyway, checking stuff out before the match is a long standing tradition, just like keeping secrets until the match starts! Why, if not for that, we wouldn't - oh, speak of the devil! Hey, Miki, come over and show the girls from Oarai secret weapon number 6!"

"Yessir!" called out the girl who appeared to be supporting one of the tank treads of a tank above her head with one hand, the other treads supported by three other girls.

"... aaaaaaaaaAAAAASDFGHJKL!" Momo said after a moment of horrified contemplation.

"My, your loaders must be very strong," Yuzu mused while listening to Momo continue to expostulate in consonants.

"Um, perhaps I should explain," Miho interjected.

"Aw, let the kid do it, she looks like she's going to burst otherwise," Kei replied through giggles.

Miho blinked, and then turned to see that, indeed, Yukari had stars in her eyes and was practically shaking with excitement. "Um, Yukari-san -" she started to say.

"Yes, Nishizumi-dono!" Yukari practically shrieked. "The Ghost Army, officially known as the 23rd Headquarters Special Troops, were noted for their use of inflatable tanks! Isn't that amazing?! Inflatable tanks!"

"... oh," said Momo, after a moment. Her voice was very quiet after all the screaming. "Inflatable tanks. That's ... rather ingenious. I never would have guessed."

"And considering what your guess was," Yuzu said agreeably, "I guess we could say that, Momo-chan, you missed!"

What felt like a very long silence fell.

"You had to say it, didn't you?" Momo asked at last, veins pulsing in her forehead. "You cannot let a single opportunity to say that pass by. Nope. No sir. It would violate some sort of cosmic law if you didn't say it. If you'll excuse me, I'll be waiting in our hotel room." And with that, she stomped off back the way they came.

Yuzu let out a long sigh. "I'm gonna be paying for that one tonight," she mused aloud, then took off after Momo on a brisk run.

"Ah, such good friends!" enthused Yukari.

"... really?" asked Miho, bewildered.

Kei could not stop laughing if her life depended on it.
