New Year's Tradition
In the Enchanted Forest there was a tradition that on New Year the lights would go out and fairy dust would be thrown over the party. The fairy dust would give people a color and matching colors were True Loves.
Snow and Charming decided to keep this tradition going in Storybrooke this year. Both, Emma and Regina, weren't planning on attending the New Year's party, but were reluctantly going to please their son.
A little before midnight, Henry was getting nervous. He had spent the whole evening with Regina, but hadn't seen Emma yet. He really wanted her to be here at midnight, because he was certain his mothers would have the same color of fairy dust.
A sigh of relief came when he noticed his blonde mother approaching them a few seconds before midnight.
When the lights turned out and the fairy dust fell down everyone gasped at the beautiful colors around them.
To Henry's pleasant surprise, his mothers walked in each other's direction and kissed.
Just at that moment he felt a tap on his shoulder. Turning around he saw a girl his age, but due to the lack of lights he couldn't see who she was. He did notice they had the same color of fairy dust and shrugged leaning forward pecking the girl's lips quickly.
As the light went on he smiled at Grace, standing before him, before quickly turning around to see that his mothers were still kissing.
Grace took his hand and guided him to his mothers. They cleared their throats once they reached them.
The women broke apart quickly and looked down at their son, blushing deeply. "You two don't look too surprised," he said, raising an eyebrow. Emma bit her lip, while Regina put a strand of brown hair behind her ear.
"Well, you see, Henry…" She looked up at Emma for help. "Henry, your mother and I have been seeing each other for a while now." The blonde explained quietly.
"Great, so can we be a real family now?" He asked smiling excitedly. Both women smiled back at him and nodded.
After a few seconds of silence, Emma looked down at the children and smiled. "So, you and Grace?" It was Henry's time to blush, making both mothers chuckle.
"Yeah, well," Henry said, looking at Grace then back to his parents, "She's cool."
