Chapter 1:
The Beginning
Chris sat in his house, feeling a bit embarrassed. The mansion kept racing through his head. Raccoon city is in horrible trouble, and the police didn't believe it. The fate of Raccoon is in the hands of the ex-S.T.A.R.S. team.
He sat, staring blankly at the channel 5 local newscast. Another victim… He kept taking quick glances at the 9 millimeter sitting on the table. He had gone through a lot with that gun. It had seen crazy lunatics and, just recently, flesh eating zombies.
"Another victim was found in his house in the forest near the Arklay Mountains yesterday. It has the same identifiable marks as many other victims around this area. In other news, the S.T.A.R.S. Alpha team has been banned for an undisclosed amount of time for supposed drunkenness while searching the Spencer mansion in the woods near the Arklay Mountains." said the relaxing voice of Diana Keaton, the news anchor.
At the Alpha team news Chris looked out the window towards the park. It seemed to be quite empty, as the chain of murders has kept people away from lonely, secluded areas after dark. He took another glance at the loaded 9 millimeter on the table.
He decided to get up and go to bed. It was getting quite late, and Chris was very tired. As he got up, he heard a loud scream from the park. "What the hell was that" he said as he grabbed the handgun and 2 clips from his drawer. He flung the apartment door open and ran down the stairs. Little did he know, he was beginning a brand new adventure…
Chapter 2:
Every Journey begins…
Chris ran down the 2 flights of stairs, nearly falling and tumbling. As he went out he trained his gun on the shadows of the park. He hoped it wasn't one of them…
The park was dark and nearly empty. He ran to the corner where the scream came from. When he got there, he saw Rebecca Chambers of the Ex S.T.A.R.S. Bravo team. She explained to him that she fell off her bike on her way to Jill Valentine's house.
Chris and Rebecca ended up in Chris's car. As they drove down Brisbane Drive, they heard yet another scream, but this one coming from a road leading to the forest. Chris punched it, and they went speeding down the lonely, secluded street.
They were both very scared, but Rebecca was new and was much more. Half way down the street, they saw a sign that said "Welcome to Arklay Mountain State Park." They had officially entered the center of the murders. They were unknowingly being watched beyond that point.
Rebecca then said "What was that!"
"What?" Chris answered.
"The glowing yellow eyes, didn't you see them?" Rebecca said.
"It's probably just your imagination. These woods are kinda scar-" Chris was then cut off by a loud "BARK"
They both instinctively looked behind them, and there they were, 4 zombified mutts chasing after them. Chris grabbed his gun and handed it to Rebecca. "Use it only as a last resort." Rebecca nodded her head. Not knowing where he was going, he drove faster…
