Times like these.

I was going through my emails when this popped up. Then I realized how soon the duedate was, and that I had NOTHING for this! Man, I can't believe I forgot about this challenge! So I wrote something super mega quick and it turned out kinda crappy. Not my best... Eh.

Disclaimer: I own nothing. Cause if I did, Druna babies everywhere.

Read and enjoy...?

Draco sighed, dropping his quill on the desk. He was writing out some more orders for his Nimbus company. He couldn't do it anymore. He just wanted to enjoy the Christmas Holiday with his children.

There was a meow before the family Kneezle, Annabel, jumped into the blonde's lap. "'Ello there Annabel." He gave a small smile, running a hand through the Kneezle's bristle fur. Their youngest, Charlotte, had decided it would be fun to give Annabel a shave. The poor black and white Kneezle was finally beginning to grow her fur back.

"Talking to animals is the first sign of insecurity." Chimed one of the voices of his sons as two identical boys walked into the study.

"But don't worry; it's when the animal speaks back that you know you're going insane." Smiled the other boy.

Draco smirked and shook his head, turning to look at the two. "You two spend too much time around your Grandmother."

Lorcan and Lysander snickered. "Which is slightly weird, because mum talks to animals a lot." Lorcan mused. Lysander elbowed him.

He laughed. His twin boys were nine and much too smart for their age. "What do you want anyway?" He asked.

"Mum say's it dinner time." Said one twin.

"And to bring Annabel with you." Said the other.

Draco shook his head. Of course she would know the Kneezle was with him. She knew everything that happened in her house. "Alright." He gathered the animal in his arms, the Kneezle putting her front paws on his shoulders and began purring loudly. He followed the boys down to the dining room.

"Good, you're here." His wife said with a bright smile as she set the table the muggle way, three of their five children already sitting in their seats. "It's spaghetti tonight." She paused to neaten the magenta coloured flowers in the middle of the table before serving the food.

"Awesome." The twins said at the same time as they took their seats. Draco smirked and kissed Luna Malfoy's cheek before taking his own seat.

While the Malfoy family sat for dinner, many different things happened at the same time. Scorpius, the oldest at thirteen, began telling stories about his year at Hogwarts, talking about the brilliant Ravenclaw blonde he had a crush on. Alyssa, who was eleven, started reading a book that was sitting in her lap, her cold blue eyes darting over the words as she ate. The twins, who sat across from each other, started a food fight. It happened every night; everyone had just learnt to ignore them. And Charlotte, who's five, was sitting in her chair sharing her story with her mother about her play outside. Luna listened and wiped some spaghetti sauce from the young girl's chin.

Draco, however, just sat there and watched, a smile touching his features. This was his family, pure and themselves at times like this. It was what made him content. Not overjoyed, not depressed, just content. He wouldn't trade it for the world.

Suckish ending sucks.

I don't even understand the ending. It makes no sense. But if I keep thinking about it and fussing over it I'm going to go mad and start talking to animals... More so then I already do...

Why must I suddenly lose my muse to write during Christmas time?
