7 year old Peter Parker was in his room playing and building legos with his middle school friend Ned Leeds. They jumped at a thump as they looked to the fire escape and seen it was their best friend Gracie Willow's, who had came down from her apartment above peter's through the fire escape as Peter says, "Really Grace? You scared the crap out of us."

Gracie laughed as she climbed through the window and says, "Sorry. I just couldn't resist." She came and sat down by Peter "Hey Ned. What's you guys building." She said trying to get comfy. Her and Peter had a bond that nobody couldn't explain, they were practically like brother and sister as Gracie being the big sister being a year older than Peter. She had long brown hair, and beautiful brown eyes.

Ned replies, "Were building Legos. Want to join?"

Gracie replies, "Sure."

After an hour of playing and building Peter got up and went to his closet as he pulled out a small box and sat back down, he handed it to her and says, "Happy Birthday Grace."

Grace smiled as she gently took the box and says, "Thank You Peter, I thought you forgot."

Peter hugged her and replies, "How could i forget my own sister's birthday?" She laughed as she hugged back and says, "I Don't know but thank you."

They let go as Grace looked at her present, it was a pink box small enough to hold jewelry with a purple bow. She carefully untied the bow and opened the box as she gasp on what was in it. She looked back at Peter who had a smile on his face.

She looked back to the idem and gently pulled it out, it wa a beautiful charm bracelet that had heart charms around it. She felt tears in her eyes as she hugged Peter and says, "Thank You. I love it Peter."

Peter breathe a sigh of relief as he carefully took the bracelet from her and she held her arm out as Peter put on the bracelet on her wrist. When he was done she carefully took her arm to examine the present and says, "It's beautiful Peter."

"It is beautiful Peter." All eyes snapped up to the voice to see it was Aunt May at the door with a camera recording everything. Peter would never forget that day for as long as he lived, but unknown to the 3 kids in the room and to Aunt May that day will be a heartbreaking day for everyone.

It was around 3:00 pm and school was letting out. Peter and Ned were waiting for May to pick them up, Gracie had to stay after for after school program. They were busy talking when May drove up and watched as they got in. Just as they were driving away Gracie came running out of the building screaming for them to stop but it was to late. She was left behind as she watched them drive away.

She wasn't mad really. She couldn't blame them, they didn't know that the after school program got cancelled. So she took a deep breath and decided to walk 5 miles home to her apartment. She had only walked 4 miles and was almost home when she heard footsteps behind her, she looked behind her and didn't see anyone.

Suddenly fear shot through her as she walked a little faster the footsteps behind her doing the same thing. She was breathing heavily as she sprinted into a run to try and get away from the person chasing her. But she didn't get very far when she was pulled back into an alley way as a pair of arms wrapped around her waist from behind, she was struggling and was gonna scream when a cloth was shoved in her face she tired to grabbed the man's hands but as she inhaled the awful smell, she felt her body limp as everything went black.

It has been 3 Hours since Peter got home, he was at his desk doing homework when he looked at the time it was almost 6pm and there was no signs of of Gracie. Usually she would come home around 4pm and would always come over and hang out with him. Peter was getting a little worried as he got up and walked out of his room and says, "Aunt May? I'm worried about Grace, she would always come over after she get's home around 4."

May got down to his level and says, "I'm sure she's fine Peter. She probably couldn't come down and hang out. But i will call them to see hows that?"

Peter nodded as his Aunt May picked up the phone and called Gracie's mother. Peter was sitting on the couch watching as his Aunt May was talking to Grace's mother, he couldn't explain it but he had this feeling that something happened to Gracie and to say he was worried.

After a few minutes May got off the phone. He couldn't make out her face but he could tell that something was wrong as he says, "Aunt May? What's wrong is Gracie okay?"

Aunt May turned towards Peer as she walked over got down grabbed him by his shoulders. Tears were running down her face as she says, "Peter? I'm….Gracie s...she…. um…... didn't come home."

Peter felt tears in his eyes as he says, "W…..What do you m….mean s…..she d...didn't c…..com home?"

May hugs peter and says, "Oh Peter everything will be okay baby, me and her mother are gonna go out to look for her. You stay here with Uncle Ben."

She let go as Peter says, "I want t...to come."

May nodded and replies, "No Peter, you….you can't, just be good for you Uncle Ben okay." The door opened as Peter and May turned to see Ben as peter ran to him and hugged his waist as Benn got down and hugged Peter. He looked up towards May asking for an explanation.

May wiped her tears and says, "Gracie didn't come home. Me and her parents are gonna go look for her. H...He is not taking it well." Ben nodded and hugged Peter as he whispers comforting words into his ear.

It had already been a week since Gracie went missing, the police were notified on the 2nd day of her disappearance. Peter was hold up in his room and has been crying no-stop ever since he found out she was missing. He missed his best friend, his sister. He hadn't been to school in a week he has been laying in that bed of his and wasn't eating much. May and Ben called the school and told them what has happened. Apparently the school heard about the disappearance and was holding a memorial, when Peter heard that he felt like his whole world shattered, she couldn't be dead.

Finally on the 2nd week of her disappearance Peter was able to return to school Monday morning. His Aunt May and Uncle Ben knew he didn't want to go but he had too to finish school. Peter had found a way to make it through the rest of the school year. Without breaking down into tears.

It has now been 5 months since Gracie went missing, Peter was sitting on the couch between his Aunt May and Uncle Ben. They were watching some cartoons when the news came on. A picture of Gracie was on the screen as Peter says, "T….Turn it up."

As Ben turned up the tv the Parker family was able to hear what was being said: "We bring breaking news, the Police have believed to found the body of the 10 year old girl Gracie Willow's who disappeared on her birthday 5 months ago."

May and Ben gasp as Peter had tears running down his face as he watched the news footage of a body bag on a stretcher rolling towards the corners car. May hugged Peter as he cried on her shoulder, as May and Ben both cried as well, they thought Gracie as if she was one of their own and now she was dead.

A week later there was Funeral being held, Peter, Ned, Aunt May, and Uncle been along with Gracie's parents are the only people who came, it was a family only. Peter watch as her casket was lowered into the ground, he didn't know why people he loved had to die, first his parents, now his sister he just didn't understand. But all he knew was that on August 23rd, 2009 on Labor Day weekend is when his lost his sister and best friend.

After the funeral Peter Parker spent a week in his bedroom never coming out to eat. Ben or May would have to set food outside of his door to make sure he ate. They knew how heartbroken he was over Gracie's death, they knew how close they were. But it hurts them to see their boy in pain, they thought it would be a while before Peter would ever be okay.
