Breakfast at Milliways A/N: As I was rereading the end of chapter 15 of The Restaurant at the End of the Universe, this jumped out at me: "If you've done six impossible things this morning, why not round it off with breakfast at Milliways, the Restaurant at the End of the Universe?" I had a new filk, to "Breakfast at Tiffany's" by Deep Blue Something. :-) I'm going to write a total of five filks, one for each book in the series. Here's my entry for Book 2. This is sung from Arthur's POV at the end of the book. Have fun! :-)

You say
We've got ourselves in trouble,
The Vogons are attacking,
And we're falling apart.
We called for help and got berated,
And then got separated;
Thus our next adventure starts.

Chorus:
And I said, how about breakfast at Milliways?
It's at the end of the Universe - is that
Impossible? It was incredibly weird there,
And I said, yeah, so what else is new?

There waa-as, this cow who let us meet it,
It wanted us to eat it,
But it still felt wrong.
As we watched, the Universe was over,
But for us it wasn't over,
Now wasn't that show fun?

Chorus

So now, we're stranded here on this planet,
The very one I came from,
But long before my time.
Looks like our odd journey has ended;
I'll miss those I've befriended,
But I wish I could go home.

Chorus 3x
