"The ring..."
Frank pats his pockets, his face paling when he finds them bare. Letting out an unintentionally loud swear that makes the wedding guests laugh, he turns desperately, hoping someone can save the day.
His mum hurries to his side, slipping the band into his hand. "Really, Frank," she laughs affectionately, patting his cheek, "you'd lose your head if it wasn't attached to your neck."
Face flushing crimson, Frank turns back to Alice with a sheepish grin. "Oops," he murmurs, placing the ring on her finger.
II. Neville searches his pockets, letting out a panicked gasp. Hannah will be walking down the aisle in minutes, and the ring is missing.
"Gran! Gran, I've lost the ring!"
Augusta Longbottom makes her way over to her grandson with some difficulty, handing him the ring. "So much like your father, silly boy," she says fondly, patting his cheek.
