"Why are we doing this again?" Yoruichi asked as her and Urahara approached the Karakura High School, it was full of high schoolers in dresses and tuxedos.
"We are doing Isshin a favor he was going to chaperone the dance before Karin and Yuzu got sick. Besides it could be fun." He said with a grin.
"We are probably doing everyone a favor; Isshin chaperoning at a dance could be scary. I'm still slightly surprised I got you out of the house without a fan, hat, or clogs." She replied as they entered the school, loud music could already be heard down the hallway. She had to admit Kisuke looked pretty good in a tux.
"Actually I still have the hat in my pocket." He replied smiling.
"You've got to be kidding me." She said shaking her head laughing, walking into the gymnasium where the dance took place.
"Nope, see!" He shouted over the loud music, taking the folded hat out of his pocket and then put it away.
"So what do we do?" Yoruichi asked.
"I guess just stand here and watch, or we could dance." Kisuke replied happily.
"I'll dance in a bit, if a slow song plays." Yoruichi nodded. The two sat down at a table and watched the teens dance. Ichigo was dancing with Rukia, Uryū asked Orhime to the dance so they were together, and Chad was a girl from his class.
The dance seemed to go well and it was almost over without an incident until a somewhat drunk Keigo tried to kiss Rukia, which did not go over well with an angry Ichigo. "Do you think we should do something about that?" Yoruichi asked as Ichigo repeatedly kicked Keigo in the face.
"Nah, I think he'll calm down—oh that had to hurt." As Ichigo punched Keigo and then decided that it was enough and stopped.
"That was a bit entertaining." She said smiled.
"That's for sure." He replied. Just then a slow song began to play. Urahara looked at Yoruichi and stood up extending his hand,"Would you like to dance, my lady?" He asked with a grin.
"I suppose, there's no one else here so I guess you'll do." She joked, smiling.
"Aw that hurt." He said as they began to slow dance. "This is a nice song." He commented.
She nodded, "Yeah, I heard it once; it's called Time of Your Life. I like it a lot." She said as Urahara had her do a little spin.
"You know I think it was a good thing we helped Isshin out, I had a great time tonight." He said with a smile.
"Me too." She replied then Urahara and the two former soul reapers kissed. After the two broke off the kiss, fire alarms went off and the sprinklers caught everyone off guard.
"Great this was a nice dress too." Yoruichi said, as everyone walked out of the building, soaking wet.
"I meant to tell you look beautiful as always." Urahara told her when they were outside.
"Thanks." She replied, and kissed him.
