Prologue
Heavy breaths and cracking branches broke the silence of the forest.
"Oh Ra! Oh Ra!"Pale hands cleared a path through thick bushes, but didn't save the frail skin from being sliced.
"Finally…!" a husky voice, hoarse due to lack of air, breathed as its owner was able to break into a clearing. Pausing only a moment, the figure glanced behind, and took off again. Down a steep hill it ran, stumbling as the rocks stumbled beneath dirty white sneakers. Although gravity wasn't on their side, and nearing the bottom of the hill, the figure tripped and rolled the rest of the way. Gasping in pain, they struggled to their feet, gripping the arm they had fallen on, and staggered away.
'I...may not know where I am, but I can't stop! There must be people here…there has to be!' A sigh was heard as azure eyes spotted a domed building ahead. Whatever it was didn't matter, it was there and that was all that mattered. Panting, bleeding, and tired, the figure neared the building.
An unearthly sound erupted from behind.
The figure fell; black locks fell onto the earth, covering suddenly almost lifeless eyes.
"Oh Ra…"
