Chapter 4: Double date

(Shikamaru)

All of a sudden a knock was at the door. "Um sorry Temari my hand slipped." I came up with something stupid because maybe I wasn't ready after all. I opened the door and saw Naruto. "Uhm hey Naruto…" "Hey Shikamaru I wanted to see if you would help me out with something," Naruto said. "Yeah sure what is it?" "Well I finally got a date with Sakura-Chan and she agreed if it was a double date. So…" he smiled and pointed at Temari. "Um its not like that" "Oh you don't have to lie, but please you know how long I've waited for this." "All right since you begged."

"Erm such a pain." "What was that about?" Temari asked. I guess me and you are going to be Narutos wing men for his date. He wants us to go on a double date. So I guess you are my date." Her face turned slightly pink and she said, "I guess to help out since Sakura is my best friend in Konoha."

(Naruto)

I was walking towards Sakuras house with a smile on my face. I knocked on her door and she opened the door and said, "did they agree?" "Yep everything is going according to plan."

(Temari)

"Here you can sleep in my bed after all you are my guest." I was still stunned on him acting like a gentleman, but growing up being treated like the boys in my family it was nice to be treated like a girl for once.

I lied down, but I was still wide-awake with things running through my head. I guess I was staying 2 extra days to help out, but I couldn't get past the fact that I was going on a date with Shikamaru. It wasn't a real date, but was I suppose to act like it was?

All of a sudden I heard a knock at the window. I got up and opened the curtains. At the window was Sakura. I opened the window and said, "What are you doing here this late and how did you figure out where I was sleeping?" "Uhm lucky guess" Sakura said as she jumped in the room.

She sat down on the bed. Something seemed weird why she came her so late. "Well what are doing her anyways especially this late?" "Well since you agreed to help me out on our double date I wanted to see if you were interested in helping me in something?" Sakura asked. I muttered, "I didn't exactly agree, but continue." "Well could you help me get ready tomorrow for our date," She asked. "I'm not exactly one to get ready for dates, but I will help you out to the best of my ability," I smiled.
