My worry increases as I go through the new Akatsuki hide out looking for our orange haired leader.
I have searched every room and hall way in the entire building so that could only mean one thing..
He is on the balcony.
The pitter patter of the rain fills my senses as I near the balcony. Through the rain I can faintly see a form and orange hair.
Found you.
"You don't have to do this you know!" I say over the rain. The figure turn towards me and takes a step towards me,closing the distance between us.
"You know I must Konan,or all the Akatsuki has done..will have been for naught." A look of utter sadness fills his face as he realizes what he must do. My lip trembles as a sob tries to break free. "But what about me Yahiko! What will happen to me if anything happened to you!" Tears stream as I speak. He smiles a small sad smile.
"Then I leave the Akatsuki to you and Nagato, if anything where to happen to 't cry Konan..hn ya know...Jiraiya-sensei was right. When he said you would be a beautiful women when you get older. Any man would be lucky to have you. I wish I were that man-" I cut him off as I crash into him holding him tightly as I cry. "Please! Please don't leave me..I-I love you Yahiko...Please..Don't go."
I feel his strong arms wrap around me."I'll never leave you Konan..even if I'm not a part of this world..I'll never leave because I will always be in your heart and memories, just as you are in mine..So long as you remember me..I will always be with you." His arms tighten as he says this.
Why..why do you have to go?
A sob finally breaks free as I feel him loosen his hold around me and move away. "Don't cry..if anything happens..I want my last memory of you to be a happy one." A small smile makes it way to my face as he says this. "But nothing is going to happen..right?" He smiles his boyish smile , a smile I have grown to love. "That's right. He just wants to talk that's all." I smile and with that Yahiko leaves. I watch him jump from the roof tops.
"Your not going to let him go by himself."
I smirk."Nope we either do this as a whole or not at all." I turn towards the voice as he steps from the shadows his metallic purple ringed eyes glinting and his red hair bright.
"Then let's go."
