A/N: I just thought of this when I saw that Melina was back… so I thought that a one-shot between her and Batista would be nice.

Melina's POV:
I walked back stage with Mickie and Candice with a big grin on my face. Man it felt good to be back! "Hey good to see you back Melina!" Kelly Kelly said with her trademark smile.
"Thanks Kelly it's great to be back…" but my voice trailed off at the sight of him. My ex… Batista. He had an ice-pack on his head and was talking to CM Punk. 'Hey Melina, you still with us?" Mickie asked me.
"Yeah, I'm here." I replied. But I continued to stare at Batista, he looked so pissed off and all I wanted to do was hug him and tell him that everything was going to be all right. "Hey Melina, I thought the first rule after breaking up with someone was to never fall for that someone again." Candice said to me when she saw who I was looking at.
"Right Candice." I replied looking away from Batista.
"Anyway, you've got to choose what to wear for the club tonight! I mean you should wear something incredibly sexy but not slutty…" Candice started to ramble on about what I should wear tonight. I shook my head in amusement, when Candice started on clothes nothing could stop her except one word. "Hey Candice, is Jeff coming?" I interrupted her. As soon as I said 'Jeff' her facial expression changed completely. A dreamy smile spread across her face. Mickie, Kelly and I started to laugh. "Nice one Melina, now she'll start talking about Jeff." Said a deep voice from behind us. I turned around to John Cena. "Hey congratulations John!" I said. John smiled his thanks and wrapped his arm around Mickie's shoulders. They look so cute together! "Yeah nice work Melina…" I jumped as I heard his voice. I turned around to see Batista with a smile on his face. "Welcome back." He said to me as he pulled me into a hug. "How's your head?" I asked after we pulled apart. Somehow, John, Mickie, Candice and Kelly had mysteriously disappeared. Damn it I thought. "It's ok, not happy about the outcome of the match though." He replied.
"Hey come on, you'll get your chance. Anyway you still have your rematch clause!" I said trying to cheer him up.
"You can always put a smile on my face Melina, how did your ankle hold up?" he asked me.
"Really good! Did you see my power bomb?" I asked him.
"Sure did, that was awesome!" He replied.
"Thank you…" my voice went down to a whisper as he suddenly touched my cheek. I shivered at his touch.
"I've missed you Melina." His voice dropped down to a whisper as he slowly wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Dave… we're not together anymore… but I've missed you too." I said softly, giving him a sad smile.
"Too bad we are now," Was all he said and then he was kissing me like I've never been kissed before. "Welcome back." He said and kissed me again.
