He never had to vent a problem when with her. It was enough that their eyes met. Since they had started dating, or even before. She knew him better than anyone else.
When he broke up with her, she understood the reason. When the war came to an end, it was she who gave him the coziest hug. It was she who gave him some comfort every time he visited his parents' graves, and who stroked his shoulders when watching him go through that old photograph album. It was she who realized the brightness in his eyes every time he looked at their children.
Many said they comprehended harry potter, and they did so. But not quite as Ginny Weasley did.
