POTTER, ALIANNE
Godric's Hollow, London, England
April 2, 1960 - August 21, 1980
Esteemed healer/auror, Alianne Jesika Potter- age 20, was killed last night by he-who-must-not-be-named.
Alianne was Quidditch captain for the Gryffindor team in her 6th and 7th years, not to mention head girl, at Hogwarts following the path of her older brother James. "She was planning on becoming the school nurse or a teacher there, at Hogwarts." said Sirius Black-age 22- Alianne's fiancé, and friend of the Potter's for close to 16 years. "It had been her dream since she- for all her life." he said looking away.
"Aliey was- Merlin, how the hell do you describe her?" Gwen Kamkosi-age 21- said of the lady she befriended 10 years ago. "Aliey - I don't know- she was the greatest person I ever met. She was always willing to take a chance. Always doing things no one else would just to prove they could be done, just to prove it was possible."
Ms. Potter grew up in Godric's hollow, a subsection of Brighton, with her father Jozefph, mother Alanna, brothers, Andrew and James; and sisters, Regina and Raechelle. When she was 12 years old, her father, also an auror, was killed on a mission. 3 months after the death of her father, her sister Raechelle, aged 14 at the time, killed herself. Her sister Regina died a year later- she was 20 years old.
Alianne is survived by her brother James(Lilliey) Potter and their son Harry; brother Andrew(Courtny) Potter and their daughter Britny, both currently living in London; her two nieces, Nikole(Jonathan) Marks of Norwich and Denise(Joshua) Talley and their daughter Alysin of Ipswich. Alianne is also survived by her many friends such as: Lucious Malfoy of London; Charlie Weasley of Ottery St. Catchpole; and Remus Lupin also of London.
A service is to be held for Alianne on Saturday, August 24, 1980 at 5:30 in the evening at the 'Halvhope' cemetery in hogsmeade.
"I loved my sister a lot," said James with tears running down his face when we went to talk to him about the loss of his youngest, and no doubt closest, sibling, "she knew Voldemort was looking for her and she wasn't afraid of dying." after that James could speak no more, so his wife Lilliey said, "Aliey had been my best friend since I was 5 years old. I loved more than I love my sister."
Sirius- after much coaxing from Gwen- told our correspondent "Aliey knew she was going to die- and she knew it was going to be soon. The day she was... killed, she told me that she was pregnant. The bastard killed two people with one spell. I won't forget her and I will never stop loving her."
"Alianne Potter will be remembered by all whose life she touched. Whether it be as a student, teacher, or as a great person, or as anything else, she will never be for gotten." Said Hogwarts' headmaster Albus Dumbledore, "to me, she will be remembered as the most... interesting presence in my life in a long time."
In closing we send to you a thought, a quote from Alianne herself.
"Even in the darkest of times, when what little light you have goes out and it looks like there will never be a tomorrow, when even the strongest person loses hope, those of us that can must stand together. If we don't, they win, and there will be no tomorrow if they win!"
It is to late for Ms. Potter, but let the rest of us learn from her.
