It was another boring day in Suna. The heat was it's usual high temperature, not pleasing to its local residents. Sakura Haruno lounged on her couch, for she had nothing to do. It was summer break and all of her friends had either been on a trip or with family. (In this story, Sakura is very pretty, and she has long straight pink hair)

Sakura sighed, realizing high school started in less than 2 weeks. She was being forced to attend Sunagakure Academy. (A/N: Sorry for the lack of creativity XD) It was practically required for all citizens of Suna, unless you had a specific reason as to why you couldn't attend. She longed for having 'a specific reason'. Her dream high school was Konohagakure Gaming Academy (KGA).

It was a high school for teens who pretty much devoted their lives to video gaming and such. You'd think that you'd barely learn there...right? Wrong. All the teaching is stepped up into the 21st century technology. Meaning the latest gadgets and widgets. Teaching would never be boring again!

Sakura couldn't help but smile at the thought of attending that school. As a child, when she had nothing to do over the weekends, she'd play on her GameBoy, Xbox, or any gaming device she could find. She LOVED gaming. She had been considered 'A Gamer Girl'.

So why didn't she go to the school? Her mother, the overprotective role model in Sakura's life. It'd take a lot of convincing for her mom to give in...not like Sakura hadn't already tried that. It was hopeless.

Dismissing her negative thoughts, she sat up and glanced at her clock.

7:30. Good, mom will be home in half an hour. Guess I should get dinner ready...

And with yet, another sigh, Sakura stood and began preparing dinner.

Next week...

"God dammit, my whole life is like a freakin' record player!" Sakura groaned. Here she was, sitting on the couch yet again, still with nothing to do. After letting out few more curses, her front door burst open, revealing her mom.

"Mom? Why are y-"

"SAKURA! BIG NEWS!" Her mother interrupted loudly. Sakura stood and tilted her head in confusion.

"We're moving!" Her mother shouted.

"No way...Really?!" Sakura couldn't believe it. "Where to?"

"Konohagakure! My new job is over there and so I thought, why don't we move? We gotta hurry though, because I wanna enroll you in a highschool over there before school starts next week." Her mother explained. This was all music to Sakura's ears. They were moving to the home of her dream high school! Sakura decided not to tell her mom about KGA until they arrived at Konoha.

Her mother patted Sakura's back soothingly.

"Get packing!" The older Haruno ordered in a somewhat calming manner. Sakura laughed, running up the stairs to get started.

While packing, Sakura realized something. She'd have to say goodbye to her best friend, Gaara. The two had stuck together like glue every since elementary school and leaving him would be one of the hardest things she would have to do.

She continued to gather her things, struck with sadness about leaving her best friend.

((First story, no hate -3- I had another story but I deleted it because I feel like they all got together WAY TOO QUICKLY XD. AND ITS SHORT TOO SO IM SORRY ABOUT THT. I HAVE EXAMS NEXT WEEK. Anyways, sorry if it seems so planned that she coincidentally moves to Konoha. I had to find a way. SOOOO...follow and favorite the story! Ill try to update ASAP.))
