Castiel tugged the chains in distress at the angel's words.
His pain resonated, head pounded at the thoughts that came.
Actions have consequences, and his would prove to be costly.
What he'd done in Heaven could be the bane of
his friends, good men. Still, war was on the horizon.
A phrase he'd heard portrayed his actions and their cause:
"Water under the bridge." Not to be a machiavellian warrior
(because that didn't exactly pan out in Heaven's last battle)
but his mission was predominant to such petty things as
the grievances of men or the ashes of angels.
