A/N: Just a little oneshot I thought up! I hope you all like it!

"Make your choice." He growled, giving one last painful blow to Raoul's neck. She stood there, pain in her eyes that were egal to Raoul's bloodshot ones. She loved them both, but the coil of it all wouldn't allow her to think straight. After some thought, she made her choice. Slowly, she made her way up to the distraught man in front of her, her lips finding his. At the very moment of contact, she realized he was one. At this realization, she slipped the ring on her finger in the midst of the kiss.

And then they broke apart. Tears welled the love blind man's eyes, soon trickling down his face. He passed her, walking out of the lake.

"Go now! Go now and leave me!" He yelled, stumbling up the stone staircase.

She was shocked. She didn't want it to go like this. She wanted to be his! Christine untied Raoul with expedience and ran after her angel.

"Christine! Christine, where are you going?" Raoul shouted. She merely ignored him and continued in the direction of where her angel went. She reached his bedroom, and saw him sitting there singing to himself. She also took notice of the monkey box his eyes were fixed on. Miniauture symbols gently clanked together, while it played a soft tune.

"Angel?" She whispered. He looked up from the monkey box, utterly shocked at what he saw. It was Christine, the love of his pitiful excuse for a life. He couldn't think of much to say, since he was in this state of shock.

"Christine, I love you..." He sang softly.

She slowly walked up to him, and kneeled beside him. She pressed her lips to his, and put a gentle hand on his flawless cheek. When they broke away, she smiled softly at him.

"I love you too." She whispered.

He smiled widely, hugging her tightly. "Oh, Christine..." He whispered, burying his head into her soft chocolate curls.

When he heard the mob coming closer, he pulled away and changed moods suddenly. She knew it was instinct to panic like this when people came near his home, being the man he was. "We must go." He stated, standing up, then helping her up. He grabbed all of his money, a few small things, and threw on a jacket. He threw her his other jacket, and picked up his items.

"Where are we going?" She asked curiously.

"Rouen, France." He stated firmly, and grabbed her hand, leading her out of the hellhole of despair and darkness forever more.
