Burning Memories
At Murakami High School, all students were expected to be on their best behaviour. There were some who were just like that, and others who just weren't. Then, there are those who try to be on their best behaviour, but somehow, snaps and loses it. One of these students suffered just that.
Terra was listening to her teacher as she talked about Geometry. It wasn't a thrilling subject, but it was better than doing nothing. As she continued to work, she happened to overhear one of the students talk about a green person that was at the school earlier on. Terra listened in, wondering who this green person was.
She suddenly realized who they meant, but it was too late. Memories started coming back of Beast Boy, promising that he wouldn't tell her horrible secret, and finding out that Robin had knew all along. Terra tried to pretend she didn't hear it, but one of the boys noticed.
'Hey, check this out. Terra's all shaken. What's the matter, Terra?'
'Nothing, I'm just a bit nervous.'
'Oh, come on. You know that green dude that can morph into animals. I bet he's wondering where his little Terra has gone, and whenever she will ever come back!'
As the boys kept tormenting her, more memories of the Titans came flowing in, mainly of Beast Boy and how he kept reminding her that he wouldn't tell her secret, and betrayal that would affect her life forever.
Hey hey, I know it wasn't New York.
Where I lost my mind.
Hey hey, I know I must have left it.
It was back home all the time,
and where were you while we lay
so drunk that we died.
Hey hey, I know, but who could blame us,
under pressure.
SNAP! Her mind snapped in two. She couldn't take it anymore.
'GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HEAD!!!' She ran out of the classroom at lightening speed, running down the hallway and outside of the school.
And I know,
I should stayed in bed

As she ran, more memories kept coming back, and yet she tried everything to get rid of it. She decided to run home. She knew what she had to do.
Hey hey, I know its just a toothache,
I won't even cry.
Hey hey, the candy store prescriptions
All lined up in the aisles
And where were you while we lay
Shipwrecked in denial
Hey hey, its just a pill to help you
Sleep right through the night
As she ran into her room, she grabbed her superhero outfit and a match, and ran out, looking for a pit.
And I know
I should have stayed in bed
I know I should have stayed in bed
Because tomorrow's gonna be another party
You stay too long until the lights get lonely
Oh tomorrow's gonna be another party
Wait too long til we all stay out of the sun
As she stood at a pit, she had her superhero outfit in her hand. With one stroke, she lit the match and set the outfit on fire, and held it up.
'Back to hell in which you came from!!!' she yelled as she threw the burning outfit into the pit.
And I know
I should have stayed in bed
I know I should have stayed in bed
I know, I know it wasn't New York, New York
(x2)
Terra watched as the outfit she once wore burned to bits, burning away all the remaining memories of her past with the Titans. She sighed a relief as the last bit of fabric burned to ash, becoming nothing. It was gone forever. As she heard the school bell ring, she headed back, knowing she was going to be in serious trouble for swearing and running out of class.
But she didn't mind. She was just an ordinary girl with a Geometry class this period and she hadn't studied.
