Hello and welcome to my first ever fanfiction! I may make a second chapter if all goes well. Enjoy!

All characters not including mine are a copyright of Artix Entertainment and are the owners of DragonFable.

As Korbak obtains the last piece of his sinister Kathool adept armor set, he feels a dark power consuming him from within. What is this evil that I sense overwhelming me he says. For the time being he chooses to forget about it and returns to his home in Doomwood. Kabrok, his loyal dragon companion asks why he is sleepless on such a beautiful and quiet night. I only wish I knew, he replies.

The next morning kabrok awakes to see if his master had slept a wink the night before. But alas, he sees his master with eyes bloodshot and looking crazed. Whatever could be happening to his master? Korbak goes to see Warlic to find out the cause of his sleepless and crazed mind. Warlic is about to greet Korbak, but when he sees him he is both interested and alarmed by his current condition. He instead invites Korbak in to examine him. Along with the assistance of his currently grounded apprentice Nythera. (As ironic as that is.) "When did this all start?" Warlic calmly asked Korbak. Korbak thought for a moment. But before he could reply, he felt something evil of mind starting to to seep into his his very own mind. This mind was supposedly thought never to return until perhaps eons later. "You can not resist my power!" the evil being spoke to Korbak. Korbak screamed out-loud within his mind. NO! You shouldn't have any power over me anymore! I defeated you! You weak-minded pathetic human! Did you honestly think you could escape my wrath? It was true! Kathool Atchoo had somehow breached his watery prison and had telepathically reached Korbak's very own mind. Thus driving him to insanity! Warlic had of course been telepathically watching Korbak's very own insanity from within his mind. This however wasn't just mere insanity. It was the power of Kathool Atchoo! Cysero being the one who sold the armor to Korbak indeed knew of it's powers. He also warned him of it as well. Korbak did not heed his warning of the dark and horrible price the wearer pays. For the high mana costs for many of it's abilities are nothing compared to the corruption and insanity the wearer receives upon obtaining the armor.

Now, all I ask you is to post comments about what you think should happen next. I will oversee the posts and pick the best one. Then I will perhaps make another chapter.
