"Wake up! Wake Up!" Carlos yelled, jumping up and down on the bed.
James groaned and rubbed at his eyes. "Carlos. What the hell are you doing? I was trying to sleep."
Carlos grinned and flopped down next to James on the bed. "It's Valentines Day. Our first together as a couple!" Carlos exclaimed, leaning over to wrap his arms around James' neck. "Aren't you excited?"
James sighed. " I would be more excited if you'd let me sleep." Carlos frowned. "Who needs sleep when there's presents?"
James perked up at the word 'present'. "You got me a present?" James asked, sitting up.
"Of course I did!" Carlos jumped up and ran into the living room to retrieve it. He returned a minute later with the present hidden behind his back. "Now close your eyes and put your hands out."
James did as he was told and waited. Carlos placed the envelope into James hands. "Okay, you can open them."
James opened his eyes and looked down."Can I open it now?" Carlos nodded. James opened the envelope to reveal two plane tickets.
James looked up at Carlos in shock. "You got me plane tickets?"
"Well, yeah. I figured since we get some time off next month we could take a trip to Hawaii. I know you've always wanted to go. If you don't like it..."
"No! No, I love it." James quickly interrupted. "They're great. Thank you." James leaned over to press a kiss to Carlos' cheek. "Do you want your present now?"
"Yes!" Carlos shrieked, nearly bouncing up and down.
James chuckled, moving to the closet to get Carlos' present. When he returned he placed the box into Carlos' hands. "Before you open it, I um, I'm sorry it's not as good as what you got me. You got me the prefect present and I.."
"I'm sure I'm going to love it." Carlos interrupted
He opened the box to find a photo album. Curious, Carlos opened it to find it filled with pages and pages of pictures of him and James from over the years. Some pages had captions to go along with the pictures. Others had song lyrics. Carlos looked up at James. "This is.."
"Cheesy, I know. I can get you something else. Something better." James sighed.
Carlos shook his head. "I love it. I can't believe you made this for me. It must have taken you forever." Carlos set the photo album down to wrap his arms around James' neck. "I really do love it. Thank you."
James wrapped his arms around Carlos' waist. "Are you sure? You're not just saying that?"
"I promise, I love it." Carlos leaned in to press a quick kiss to James' lips. "I love you."
"I love you too." James replied. "Now can we go back to sleep?"
Carlos rolled his eyes. "Fine. But we need to get up in a few hours for out date."
James jumped into bed and pulled the covers up to his neck. "Deal. Now get over here."
Carlos crawled into bed beside James and snuggled into his side. "Happy Valentine's Day."
James let out a content sigh and shut his eyes. "Happy Valentine's Day babe."
