Just something I jot down in school I wanted to share.

Sephiroth wrapped his long slender hands around his coffee mug, making small talk with Tseng. They spoke mostly of missions and politics, murmuring quietly. It wasn't often it was quiet, especially with the puppy around. Speaking of the puppy...

"Tseng, where is the puppy?" They hadn't seen him in 24 hours...something was up.

"If this was like the time he convinced that acting troupe to come to my room at 3am..." Tseng mumbled. Sephiroth chuckled to himself, taking a long sip from his cup.

"With luck he will be off on a mission." A large banging erupted from the air ducts, like large boots clanking along metal. They both looked up, and listened as the clanking got closer, and then began to recede.

"Do you think..?" Tseng looked at Sephiroth, who shrugged. If it was the missing first, then he could feel free to get himself out. Then a soft whooshing sound followed. This time Sephiroth raised an eyebrow.

"Have you seen the Chocobo?" Tseng shook his head. "What do you think-" there was a large crash as the metal duct met the table, one soldier and a cadet tumbling out of it.

"Zack.." Tseng raised his eyebrows as he noticed what the puppy was holding. "Why do you have Elena's...unmentionables?" Cloud hurried to hide something behind his back, while Zack retorted.

"How do you know what they look like?" Tseng narrowed his eyes, and ignored him.

"Let me guess...you have Cissnei's?" Cloud turned bright red, and nodded.

"Who put you up to this Zack?" Sephiroth asked, "or was it your own bright idea?" Zack smiled.. "Need I have asked?"

Two days later, they found Zack in the air ducts again. This time, though, he was stuck.

"WHAT gave you the bright idea to bring your sword into the vent system?" Genesis asked, yanking at the other firsts pant leg, while Angeal yanked in the other.

"Sephiroth said there might be rats." Angeal grunted, ignoring the looks of the passing cadets and Turks.

"Did you think on how you were going to swing your sword in an enclosed space?"

"Well, I thought I'd just poke at them and they'd go away." Genesis rolled his eyes.

"I'm two seconds away from leaving you and your stupidity in this air shaft."

One week later...

"Please tell me it was Zack and not some random terrorist..." Tseng mumbled, loading his gun.

"Personally I'd rather it be a terrorist, I can kill them." Genesis muttered darkly, pulling on his boots. The air duct above Angeal's office had been destroyed by a large blast, most likely a large gun or an inexperienced materia user.

When they arrived, the puppy was sitting docile-like in middle of the scorched floor, nodding as he hung his head in shame as Angeal lectured him, clad only in boxers and a thin robe.

"And that is why we do not use fire materia in the vents!" he sighed, looking at Zack. "What gave you the idea in the first place?" Zack looked at Genesis.

"Well, Sephiroth warned me of rats so I brought my sword. Genesis pointed out that I'd get stuck if I brought it, and you said it was too big to swing so, ta-da! The only answer was materia!" Angeal grabbed Zack by the shoulders.

"NEVER, EVER go in the air ducts again. It's dangerous."

3 weeks later they found Zack in the Turks restroom...the women's, to be exact.
