SPOV

"LEE-AH!" I yelled, there was a completely annoying incessant banging on my wall that just had to stop. "LEEAHHHH!!!" I jumped out of my chair and slammed on her door. "Leah Marie-Shay Clearwater, OPEN THIS DOOR!" I was really mad now. I was about to slam into the door once more when she opened it. Her hair was all out of place and she had a huge smile on her face, I hadn't seen Leah smile in so long that I forgot why I was angry in the first place. "Hey Sethy, what's up?" she asked. My mouth dropped open, Sethy? She hasn't called me that since she was 6 and I was 4. "Hey, you okay?" She asked, concern filling her features. What was wrong with her? "I-I'm fine, Leah, What's going on with you? What's all that banging?" I asked. She laughed, she sounded…..happy. "Nothing, Sethers, I'm making a surprise." She smiled at me. "L-Leah, who's the surprise for?" I asked, Leah had gone from Mrs. Kinda-sorta-happy to Mrs. Super-happy-person in the time period of a day. "It's for Sam." She said, "It's our one year anniversary tomorrow." She explained, and then Leah giggled. "This is weird, I'm gonna go, stop the banging." I said, and then I walked into the living room, thoroughly confused. Leah Marie-Shay Clearwater, my sister, was in love with Samuel Lee Uley, the guy I had always had bad feelings toward. This was so weird. "Seth! Sam'll be here in a couple of minutes, so answer the door while I'm getting ready!" Leah yelled, and once again I was totally nothing but a service guy. Sam better be good to her, or he'll have both of us after him.

!!!!***********&&&NOW IT'S THE NEXT DAY&&&************!!!!

Leah hadn't been out of the room all day, I could hear screaming and crying and the occasional crashing of objects, but I knew better than to ask her what was up. So I stayed beside her door, playing the good brother and wondered if my beloved sister was alright, well okay not exactly, but I was worried. Finally I couldn't take it anymore. I pounded on Leah's door. "What the hell happened?" I asked, Leah didn't answer. Then the door was unlocked, I started at the doorknob, questioning whether to go in or not. "Come on, Seth, let me tell you." Leah's voice was ragged and her whisper sounded soft. I opened the door to mass chaos, everything was on the floor, but I only noticed that the necklace Leah always wore was shattered on her bed, the glass heart broken into a million pieces. Right then I knew what happened, and that now, my sister would forever be changed. Because I guess fate always did hate Leah, but this game was cruel, she couldn't win against such a powerful force. So I wrapped my arms around her and let her cry, knowing she would need all the help she could get.
