The skies seem to darken, as I ran through the forest. I hope to find a way, a reason, a purpose even. I know my name, my past, and most of all, I know my enemies.

Chaos power is fine and all, but I still feel I am missing something...

I do not mind, knowing my heart was frozen for 50 years. I know why, but I don't know.

I still feel I am still missing something... What was it?

Could I really be just a copy?

I spark my skates, shooting across the ground as fast as a falcon can dive.

All this questions with no answer, It feels like a waste of time. Time that I do not need, nor do I have that I can loose.

There were no fires, but it all went up in FLAMES.

I was captured, but set free. Now I feel as if I need to flee.

Danger follows me where ever I go. How would I know? Because, my past also follows.

I know the answers are here somewhere...

The wild winds blow through my spines, as I race across the forest floor. I turn the rocks black and the grass to ashes.

I become tired, but I still push on.

Power, softness. Danger, kindness. What am I really?

My powers fade, but I have made it to where I stand now.

Atop the highest building, I stare down at all the scared faces of human kind.

I feel very tired, but I still go on.

I jump down, rolling into a spiky red and black ball before I strike the ground.

I begin going off again, skating across the roads fulled with cars.

A few times, I was hit by a truck but I still push on.

I reach the mountains, my skates begin to give out. I still go on, knowing what my prize is.

I jump across the jagged rocks, with the grace of a snow leopard.

Leaping for the final jump, I grab onto the cliff and pull myself up.

I reach the top of the mountain. I begin to skate, but the flames go out.

I breath hard, and finally reach the iron door, it shines in the light.

Before I can reach my normal make-shift home, I collapse.

I was picked up by the arms of a human, but I know this human well.

That brings me to here, where I write this story. I just sit here, on the metal ledge that extends from the wall.

...00000000000...

What did you think? I will explain the full story behind this HERE...

Shadow was running through the forest, he turned on his skates to get to the city faster. He got to the city, and teleported straight onto a skyscraper. He jumped off, and did a homing attack onto the ground to soften the fall. He then got up, and skated onto the roads, trying to get to the mountains as fast as he could without teleporting. He was much too tired to teleport after that one time. A few trucks were not watching and hit straight into him. The trucks only weakened Shadow but didn't honestly harm him (other than a few bruises). Shadow became very tired out, but still kept going. He skated towards the mountains and finally got there. He begain to climb, but then just jumped across the rocks and then got to the top. He pulled himself up, and walked towards Eggman's base which was at the top of the mountain. Before Shadow could go into the base, he fainted. Eggman walked out, hearing all the noise. Eggman saw Shadow limp on the floor, and then took Shadow inside.

Thats the story! Also, Shadow is writing in a e-book.
