The Obvious
Summary: This is all from Ron's point of view.
Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter, J.K. Rowling does. I don't own the quote either.
"They sat idly and silently, gazing with eyes that dreamed...and did not see."

Well, here we go again, correction, here they go again. I swear, the two of them have been dancing around each other for years. I don't even think they realize it. Kind of sad really, I mean when over half the whole school has a betting pool from three weeks until they're together to never, (I wonder if Snape has always been that negative?) and the two people in question don't even notice it, I say that's just down right thick.
Look at them. They are supposedly studying for potions. Ha! More like studying each other. He'll say something, Hermione'll laugh. He will blush, she'll reply, he'll say how witty she is, now it's her turn to blush, then they start the whole process all over. After seven years of watching their affections for each other grow, yet neither do anything about, it just gets a tad bit annoying.
You'd think all that blushing would make their faces permanently red. Great, they'd probably think I'm the one that's gone nutters. If you even asked them how the felt, they always deny it, saying, "What the bloody hell are you talking about Ron? Mione's our best friend, what would give you that idea?", or "Harry is my best friend, nothing more, honesty Ron. Why would you suggest such a thing?"
You know, any poor bloke would go nutters around the two of them. It's such a shame really, if only they were more open about their feelings. I mean sure I had a thing for Hermione in our fourth year, and I got a little jealous, but I got over it. Besides, I always knew Harry had a thing for her, whether he decided to show it, or not. Even the whole Cho thing ended because of Hermione, indirectly of course, but still.
You know, spending as much time with them as I do, I could probably right a book on all the little things in the past seven years. Oh, what a laugh Hermione would get. Me, Ronald Weasley, hardly ever reading a book, let alone writing one. I could picture both their faces right now.
They'd be the perfect couple of Hogwarts. They compliment each other very well, at least that's what Ginny says. I just think that they should bloody kiss already. It'd make everyone happy. You know, I wouldn't be so surprised if someone tried to play matchmaker with both of them, though it wouldn't work, trust me. Ginny tried in our 6th year, even having Fred and George help. Let's just say that ended in one big mess. If only they'd open their eyes and see what was right in front of them.
Mom told Ginny to let nature take it's coarse. That if they truly are meant to be together, like everyone knows they are, then in due time they would be. Then she made Ginny promise not to let Fred and George help will anymore matchmaking schemes of hers, really those two have been a bad influence on her. I think that Mom may be right, even though I won't admit it to her. I think that we're all hoping that fate will start moving her arse and get them together already.
I guess we'll have to wait until that happens. I just wish they'd stop blushing already. I suppose life doesn't always do what you want it too. You just have to see it through to the end, and hope for the best.

I know it sucked…. I was just really bored, and it just sort of wrote itself. I thought about making it into a fic, instead of a one-shot, but I don't know…Please review and tell me what you think…check out my other story - Saying Goodbye… =)
