okay so I was just trying to clear some space off my laptop and I stumbled upon this fic I wrote a while back. Takes place when the Doctor tries to leave Rose with ten too. Disclaimer: I don't own anything
"No, he may be human, but he's not you. Don't leave me here, please!" Rose Tyler shouts at the Doctor as he tries to leave her with his human clone.
"But don't you see, Rose? You have a chance with him. He's human, he has one heart, he will age with you. He has all of my thoughts, my feelings, my memories. He can be there for you."
"Yeah, he's not you. I don't care that he's human, he's not you. I love your two hearts, and I don't care that you will live on long after I'm gone. He may have your memories, but they're just memories. He is not the one who experienced all those wonderful, terrible things with me! He's someone else with your face." At this point tears are streaming down Rose's face.
"He needs you Rose!"
"I know I'm being selfish but I need you. I'm in love with you. I fought so hard to get back to you. You can't just leave me here Doctor. You can't leave me after everything we've been through!"
"Rose,"
"The first time you left me on this beach, I was nothing. I had nothing left. All my thoughts were about how to get back to you. I have nothing without you. Please just take me with you!"
"Rose, you would have to leave your family, forever. There would be no coming back."
"I just want you."
The doctor has tears running down his face as he leans down, and for the first real time, finally, kisses Rose.
When they eventually break apart, the Doctor whispers, "I promised Jackie that you would be safe."
"She understands. She knows how much I love you"
"If it's what you really want, then you can come with me."
Rose grins and walks over to her mum. After they say their goodbyes, Rose heads back to the Doctor. He grabs her hand and pulls her into the TARDIS, as they enter he whispers, "I love you". Rose flashes him a grin.
"Quite right too. Now where shall we go next?"
