Okay this is just a one-shot on how Zuko, Aang, and Sokka react to Toph getting a date. My inspiration was a bunch of brotherly fics between them.

It was a normal day in the fire palace when a sudden event at caused a lot of trouble for one blind earth bender. Sokka was busy stuffing his face. Aang and Katara were staring googly eyes at each other. Zuko, Suki, Ty Lee, and Mai were just eating normally. When all of a sudden Toph said that she had to go. Everyone was concerned because she hadn't eaten a lot.

"Where are you going?" asked Katara. She was always the motherly one.

"I've got a date." replied Toph, causing the boys to spit out their food and the girls other than Mai to squeal.

The boys looked at each other and jumped up, scooped up Toph and carried her to a room and locked her in. They ignored her protests and screaming because she couldn't earth or metal bend in there.

"Let me out you stupid bullfrogs, idiotic noodles!"

"No! You are not going on the date." They screamed back.

Toph was their little sister and they were going to protect her no matter what. They already agreed, without her consent, she wasn't going to date.

"Oh my god! I can't believe we didn't notice before. She can't have a date!" Sokka said anxiously.

The girls came and screamed at them to let her out or explain to her why they wouldn't at least. They walked cautiously in to avoid the punches aimed at them.

"Look Toph we just don't want you to get hurt. You're too important to us. We don't want to lose you." Aang said. Zuko and Sokka nodded.

"I can take care of myself. I'm a big girl." She said. She was touched they cared so much for her. Her family was just crap. She realized they were her real family. In a totally un Toph moment she hugged them and said that she loved them and that she would be careful. Then she punched them and told them to get out because she needed to get ready. The girls came in even Mai and helped her. Even though she couldn't see she felt beautiful. The boys were stunned and didn't like it because whoever he was was going to stare at her, they accepted that she could take care of herself. But that didn't mean they weren't going to follow them.
