"No! Absolutely Not!"
"But mom!"
"No! It's way too dangerous!"
"Mom! You don't let me do anything!"
That's the last thing Brian Manta said before storming to his room like a tornado yielding thunderstorm.
It's not fair! He thought. I'm thirteen years old, and I still don't have a Pokémon! I live in pallet town for god sake! What else am I supposed to do!
Brian craved excitement. He wanted a Pokémon so hungrily he would do almost anything to start a journey! But of course his mother just had to be over protective and of course his dad had to be the champion of Kanto. And of course his dad is in full favor of me starting a journey but his mom always wins the arguments.
I'm going to get a pokemon someday, he thought, And when I face my dad she'll know I'm perfectly capable of looking after myself, and my pokemon!
