In 1979 Richard Feynman, one of the men who helped develop quantum mechanics, made an amazing discovery. Using his knowledge of quantum mechanics he was able to create something speculated and dreamed of by millions of people around the world. He created a form of time travel that only allowed travel backwards in time because forward time travel could spell disaster to the world. Feyman however was a self-preserving man and did not want to use the device. He used it only once and traveled back to October 4, 1957 to watch the first space launch. He never used it after that. When in 1988 he was on his death bed he entrusted his 20 year old nephew, Nigel Marven, with the machine. He felt Nigel was the only person whom knew and could understand the sheer power the device held. Nigel spent the remaining 2 years of university deciding what to do with it. He majored in zoology and minored in oceanography. He decided that his love for animals would be the perfect use of the time machine. He would create a wildlife reserve for extinct animals. The idea was outrageous and it took him six years to find enough people to support him but finally he had his team. The head warden was Bob Arthur, who was very enthusiastic as was head veternarian Suzanne McNabb. Nigel also had three crew members who would go with him on his time traveling adventures; Bill Morgan, Jim Crawford and Ben Williams. The park was built to its immense dimensions expanding into both southern Kansas and northern Oklahoma. The park was built, the crew were hired, all they needed now were the animals.
