Because she doesn't see the point in it – after all, she'll never be as smart as her brother – so why bother trying?
The girl who has her own second life in a book;
Because the world isn't so damn confusing when she creates it.
The girl who thinks it's stupid for her to learn things the right way,
Considering that she can't do anything right.
The girl who doesn't let anyone touch her pride;
Since it's the only thing she has.
The girl who speaks her mind,
When really she's just copying other peoples thoughts and views.
The girl who uses her wit to get her out of doing things;
When the only thing she really wants out of, is the conversation.
The girl who's best friends with a girl who thinks wearing fruit is fun;
Seeing as they're both lost souls together.
The girl who tells everyone that she never cries,
When what she means is: she just doesn't cry when people are watching her.
The girl who everyone thinks they know everything about;
In truth, they only know what she tells them.
The girl who no one can figure out –
So why bother trying?
