It would be in your best interest not to ask...
Why do we even bother with the disclaimer? Does anyone actually expect one of the Japanese creators to learn fluent English just to rewrite their story? Well whatever, it's not mine, though if I had a chance at owning one part of Kingdom Hearts Zexion would be mine in a heartbeat...that or his lexicon (I don't know enough words).
About a week after returning to Destiny Islands Sora, Riku and Kairi rested in comfortable silence on the beach just listening to the waves crash on the shore gently. After quite some time Sora rose with a sigh and smiled at his friends who gave him questioning looks.
"What's up Sora? You wanna get ice cream or something?" Riku asked standing up and stretching.
"No, well yeah, but that's not what I'm so happy about," Sora replied getting up and helping Kairi up, since it seemed that if one was up they should be.
"Then what has got you in such a good mood?" Kairi inquired while boredly putting her hair in a ponytail.
"Just being home really and I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for my amazing friends. Actually now that I think about it, neither Riku or myself would be here if it wasn't for Kairi," Sora smiled at his logic while using second person to refer to his friends.
"Hm? What are you talking about Sora? I really didn't do anything..." Kairi accepted the compliment with a blush creeping onto her cheeks. Riku gave Sora a look that was just as confused, and insisted that he explain further.
Walking down the beach so he was closer to the shore, Sora grabbed a random flat rock and skipped it across the water. For a while he just stared out to the ocean aimlessly, then turned towards Riku and started his explanation with a question. "Don't you remember the world of darkness Riku? We never would have made it out if the Door to Light hadn't been opened. I think it was because of the poem Kairi sent us that it was able to open."
Before anything else could be said Kairi interrupted. "Wait! What?! What poem are you talking about Sora? I never wrote any poem for you guys," she said rather quickly.
"Oh yeah that! I remember now, it was in a bottle and said something about blending and mending, and one sky or something like that. I can't really remember though I kind of just glanced over it," Riku shrugged sticking his hands in his pockets and looked to a Kairi who looked as if she was going to go into shock or have a seizure.
The two boys gave each other confused looks before looking back at the stone still girl beside them. Chancing his arm Sora touched Kairi's shoulder and looked right into her eyes, and asked, "Kairi? Are you okay? Is something wrong?"
After a bit more silence the response was much calmer than what had been expected. However it was more to herself than to either Riku or Sora. "The letter in the bottle was my poetry project so that means...I must have switched the two by mistake...That would mean that the letter meant for Sora...IS WITH MY TEACHER!!" she screeched out the last part scaring both boys a good meter away from her. "B-but my mark for the project was really good, so..." her face instantly changed a deep shade of red that seemed to be competing with her hair. "Now that I think about it, the teacher started acting really friendly towards me...OH MY GOD THAT IS SOOOOOOOO GROSS!!" Sora and Riku had backed away from the crazy girl by now afraid that she might turn homicidal any moment. Sooner than either of the other two had expected Kairi ran off screaming and they both kind of just waved half heartedly.
Following that ordeal Sora broke the silence turning to Riku and said, "By the way Santa says 'hi'"
Like I said at the beginning it would be in your best interest NOT to ask...though I myself a curious to know what kinds of things Kairi actually wrote to Sora hrm...
