Petyr always liked Sansa, even before her mother, Catelyn, had died. He had watched over her from the moment he knew who she was in Kings Landing. Just a young girl with Tully blue eyes and long auburn hair. She had grown into a strong young lady, and very beautiful. She was safe in the Eyrie, away from the Lannisters. The snow began to fall as he watched the young Stark girl from above as she played in the snow.

Sansa missed the cold of Winterfell, and the Summer snow. The Eyrie wasn't like Winterfell, but it was safe for her here as Alayne. She walked out into the falling snow and felt the ice melt on her warm skin. She noticed Lord Baelish watching her from the balcony above and decided to ignore him. Although he had taken her away from Kings Landing, he had looked at her more affectionately than he should, especially when they were alone. She sat down on a long stone bench as she heard footsteps crunching in the snow. Petyr's familiar voice was humming calmly. "The snow reminds you of home, doesn't it" his voice sounded like liquid in her ears. "I never really liked the snow much. Ayra and Bran would throw it at each other and I thought it childish" Baelish looked at her porcelain face, framed by thick locks with a soft smile. "It is best not to dwell on the past, but look to the future, sweetling. I'll walk you back to your chambers, a warm fire and some sewing will do you good".

Petyr offered his arm to the young lady. She stood, brushed snow from her long skirt then accepted his arm. They walked at a slow pace into the long, cool and quiet corridors until they got to Sansa's chambers. Petyr opened the large wooden door, and allowed the auburn haired girl to thank him for accompanying her. "It was my pleasure my sweetling". The door closed and Petyr turned to walk to the library, where he planned to spend all night and into the hours of the morning, reading in the dim candlelight.

AN: This is my first fanfic I've posted anywhere, so I am aware I'm not amazing at it. Also thank you to my editor, Jason. Lots of love.
